Elite Kitchens Manchester

“Elite Kitchens..a name that not only sounds like its taken at least three seconds to create but is cheesier than a big lump of Red Leicester . Not just that, the title by definition leaves the owner Paul O'Brien a lot to live up to. Now when people are looking to spend money on their kitchen there are a couple of facts we need to consider. First of all the kitchen is the most used room in the house. Its not only a room, its a place of work and a place for social gathering..so there's no point in penny pinching . In a world overflowing with cliches heres one that relates to Paul "You only get what you pay for......I'll warn you here...Elite are not cheap... BUT his work is top drawer ...if you want a beutifull ,bespoke, robust, functional and long lasting kitchen then contact Paul”

The entire installation team were happy to answer all questions, provided us with options on every design choice and left the house spotless once installation was over, quality of the finished project is outstanding and we couldn't be happier. A professional cleaning team is also arranged once everything is over. Simply amazing!”

UK PRO-BUILD LTD
House Extensions in Chester, Cheshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars7 April 2020
“The Pro-Build Team did an outstanding job delivering renovation and an extension project for our Grade 2 listed property. The work included re-roofing the property which was done sympathetically and effectively, completely changing the heat retention abilities. In addition and number of activities were done inside (replumbing and secondary glazing) which were done to a very high quality and always within character. The extension was a challenging project as the access is poor and a number of challenges were faced with the weather. Nevertheless the team were always extremely polite, friendly and ready to go the extra step to ensure a great job. The extension was for a kitchen/living area, bedroom, bathroom and laundry plus some outside landscaping. The team delivered on all aspects and exceed our expectations. In addition the collaboration with the planning and conservation teams was first class and made a real difference. We remain extremely pleased with all the work! I would thoroughly recommend the Pro-Build Team for any project you are looking to get done. I hope that they will be back here in the future to do more for us.”

“Elliott construction services extended and renovated our property at the end of 2019/ early 2020. They worked closely with us and our architect to deliver our vision and were easily able to deal with the challenges renovating an older house can throw up. Nothing was too much trouble and they handled all of our questions and concerns brilliantly. We’re so pleased with the finished result, it really has made such a difference to us especially having worked from home over the last 12 months. I would highly recommend Elliott Construction Services.”
RS Burgess & Sons Ltd

“My wife and I contracted RS Burgess & Sons to carry out major renovations and a large extension to a 4 bedroom late Edwardian house we bought in 2013. The house still had many original features, but the previous elderly owner had not spent any money for years and the building was in a poor state. The alterations and renovations to the main house included creating a master bedroom with dressing room and large en-suite bathroom. A further en-suite bedroom was created on the ground floor, together with a small gym and the shaft and all electricals for the installation of a 2 person home lift. The ground floor walls all suffered from damp, and after specialist treatment RS Burgess replastered and fitted a new central heating system. The main feature of the single storey extension was a 12m x 5m open plan living space- lounge, dining area and kitchen- with large bifold doors. RS Burgess also built a further utility area, including laundry, pantry and wine stores, and a room for all the plumbing and electrical kit. They returned sometime later to build a very large patio at the rear and a block paved drive to the front. The project was carried out to a very high standard. During the modernisation RS Burgess took care to buy and fit doors and skirting in keeping with the original fittings- for example they matched a large tiled floor dating from 1890, and spent 2 days blending them into the pattern! The build quality of the extension was consistently high, and whilst we chose kitchen units, electrical equipment and wood flooring RS Burgess installed them without any issues. Changes and rethinks were few, but those that were needed were handled flexibly. Overall the project was delivered on budget, and a 6 month programme came in just a couple of weeks late.”

“When we moved into our" tired" 1920s cottage we could see it had potential, needed updating and the current layout didn`t flow however we really didn`t know where to start. James had done an excellent job for me designing an extension on a previous property( Wychwood Cottage, Oakhill) so without hesitation we knew he was the right person to help us with this project too. He listened to what we wanted from our home and on visiting immediately saw the solutions. He split the work into 3 phases and advised us of the order to do. As we are living in the property this provided the benefit of concentrating on one area at time, thereby allowing better control of our budget and securing the finish of one phase before moving one to the next and enabling a break between phases to restore our sanity rather than having to live on a building site for months on end and the risk of going over budget and unable to complete any areas. The first 2 phases were reconfiguring the current cottage to make full use of the space available. The 3 rd phase is an optional extra : the addition of an orangery which would increase space and enhance the current cottage and wonderful views it affords. We have now completed phase 1 which has most definitely provided the Cottage with the "Wow " factor achieved by knocking the existing back room and kitchen into a light airy kitchen/ diner with a working area flexible dining area and retaining the log burner and chilling out area with sofas. Altering the position of the door to the previously messy utility room has enabled a shower room with toilet to be put in whilst till retaining laundry facility, storage and space for the dogs. A stable door through optimises light and views but provides the option that any mess can be hidden if necessary! It really is a lovely space and so flexible now - all our visitors are amazed at the difference and love the light and airy homely feel. W are about to embark on phase 2 which involves swapping a bedroom and family bathroom. The bathroom will then be above the utility room which also houses the boiler with the outcome of a larger 3rd bedroom and all the unsightly pipework at the back of the house will disappear as all water and waste will be on one side of the building. Thank you James your are a true inspiration!”

“Andy was one of a number of architects we invited to quote on our project to reorganise the ground floor of our house including an extension to the rear. Upon meeting him my wife and I both felt that he was the right architect for our project. He is a local man with the knowledge and experience that we needed. Wow ! did he deliver. He was patient with us as we deliberated over various aspects of the project and gave invaluable advice and support in arriving at our final plan. I naively thought that was the end of his involvement. No way! He maintained close contact with us throughout the building work and liaised with the builders to keep them focused on delivering according to the plans. He gave us advice regarding our new kitchen and referred us to a company that we subsequently employed to deliver and fit the kitchen .We are very happy with the outcome. He also referred us to a supplier of porcelain floor tiles. We used this firm. The result was top quality floor tiles at a very reasonable price. Andy also advised us regarding underfloor heating which we installed using the suppliers he recommended. Andy went above and beyond our expectations with regard to architectural services and my wife and I will be forever indebted to him for delivering a home that has transformed our domestic comfort and lifestyle. We also had a lot of contact with Andy's wife , Audrey , who liaised with us about various aspects of the project. They are a great team and made us feel special.”
