A professional approach was taken to the design, planning and installation. The project was delivered on time and to budget with the installation team working extremely hard to complete the work on the day. Project communications were good and there are no negatives to report. The company provides a quality product and an excellent professional service.

Davids team installed a glass roofed veranda over our patio. The installers were very hard working, did a really good job and left the site tidy. A small chip in one of the roof panes was subsequently replaced without any problems. We are delighted with the veranda and would recommend Whidown Design based on our experience.

This summer we ordered a veranda from Whidown Design, this was delivered and we are delighted with it. Especially as we decided to have it extended by another metre this decision made after the initial installation. Nothing was too much trouble to Whidown the alteration was carried out very smoothly and the service was impeccable, their workmen tidy and courteous There is guttering which runs the rainwater off; at our request into water butts. The whole installation certainly does the job it was intended for. This in fact gives us an outdoor dining room sheltered from the weather, large enough for ten people to sit around. After deciding to replace our shabby timber and corrugated plastic veranda, we embarked on the search for a modern and stylish replacement. After meeting with many of the major suppliers reps, most extolling the virtues of precision German engineered systems with eye watering prices, we were on the verge of giving up. Then we chanced upon Whidown Design. David came to see us and after a thorough assessment of our requirements put together a quotation for both a veranda and glass balustrade. The price was fair and very competitive in comparison to the others we'd had. We went ahead and a few weeks after David and his foreman had undertaken a full site survey, the fitters were on site and the veranda was completed efficiently over 3 days. A month later the team were back and the balustrade installed. We are delighted with the end product. David and his team were a pleasure to deal with and very consultative during the process. The work was completed to a high standard and the fitters who came to site were reliable, hard working and accommodating. I'd have no hesitation recommending Whidown Design to anyone undertaking a similar project.
