“I can’t say enough good things about the help I received from Switchdoor, when I decided to add some badly needed extra storage down my front hallway. After getting an initial quote from California Closets, that was prohibitively high, I searched for alternatives. I was trying to avoid going the “Ikea Route”. I wanted something of higher quality than that. Plus, the ubiquitous Pax with the white high gloss doors are everywhere. I wanted something unique. I had previously come across a company out of the US who did cabinets fronts for Ikea kitchens. I did a Google search to see if there were any local companies that might be doing the same thing. And there was Switchdoor. One conversation with Robert convinced me, unequivocally, that he would be able to deliver a high quality of work. After he showed me some images one of his other jobs, I could see that he was very detail oriented. As am I. I work in a creative field, and anybody who is worth their mettle will tell you, ‘god, is in the details’. I also felt that Robert really understood what I was trying to achieve. In fact, in a way, he understood it better than I did. I had complete faith that Switchdoor would deliver. Robert also helped me with recommendations for other vendors who could help me complete my vision, and was very generous with me in many other ways. Once installation had taken place, we all had to admit, it looked like a Manhattan apartment. The end product, is an absolutely gorgeous set of Ikea Pax Systems down my front hallway. The finishing and craftsmanship are of a very high calibre, delivering a custom piece that will stand the test of time. All this, but for a far more achievable price than what I had previously been quoted on from other companies. I could not be more pleased with the job that Robert, the recommended vendors, and Switchdoor did for me. The front hallway is the star of the show. Now the rest of the apartment needs to rise to the occasion! I very much look forward to working with Switchdoor again, when I update my kitchen. It may sounds ridiculous, but the storage system has absolutely ‘sparked joy’ in my life. Very grateful to have found them.”
