“As I hired Select Window Films, I am very happy or you could say amazed by the job they did for my house. I am very meticulous when it comes to being serviced and as I have reviewed all the window tints they installed to my house, I am surprised that they did an incredible job with a reasonable price. “Wish we had found this store sooner! After struggling to find carpet and window coverings we liked during a recent remodel, our friend recommended this store to us (Studio City location). The guys are knowledgable and nice and have amazing products! In the last few months, they have installed top-down bottom-up woven wood shades in our family room, roller shades in our eating area, carpet in 2 bedrooms and made 2 custom rugs for us. We will be ordering many more things from them in the future. Can't say enough good things! Will never go anywhere else for flooring or window coverings!”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
