“I worked with Rick Mintzell and his assistant Josh Knox on a Hunter Douglas PowerView motorization installation project. PowerView is the latest motorization system offered by Hunter Douglas the leading window experts in the industry. PowerView motorization just came out last summer. Rick was referred to me through Hunter Douglas. He has a wealth of experience as both an installer and having served in sales. He has worked in this industry for over 30 years. Rick and I met with the client to measure and customize our installation. There were a variety of challenges in this first floor area. We had a custom arch, a window set at the second story of the home, and we were customizing the motorization of the Architella window shades. Rick and I had in home visits and various phone conversations to make sure that we had prepared for a stellar installation. Rick delivered. Rick is very punctual, responsive, and knowledgeable. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
