“This is the best blind installer in Boise!!! After visiting a few local installers of blinds for my new home (16 big windows + a huge slider) and not finding suitable comfort with any of the bids, my sister suggested checking with the Blind Guy that did their blinds 10 years before. After talking with Ryan, the owner, he assigned his assistant Benjamin to visit with samples, take measurements, and present an estimate. That was a terrific process as I was presented with a nice variety of colors, textures, and designs to compliment my carefully chosen wood windows without deterring from their richness. Benjamin's recommendations on all the variables were spot on with both appearance and cost. A few weeks later, Ryan and his assistant Curtis came up for the installation as I held my breath for the would actually look. The guys busily measured, drilled, clipped, and adjusted each blind very efficiently for optimum operation. Their precision and attention to detail was extremely amazing, as was their friendly interaction with me and between themselves, even when there were a couple of minor snags that were successfully overcome. It has been truly a grand experience and certainly a very valuable investment, well worth the extra cost of professional installation as opposed to engaging in the huge project by this DIY home handyman. Now I have wonderful blinds on all my windows that beautifully blend in as though they are an integral part of the window design, while providing excellently controlled light blocking and insulation qualities. I hope that my contracting with other trades in the future will provide at least similar quality of workmanship and customer service as can be found with The Blind Guy of Boise!!!”

“We know we weren't Window Coverings of Idaho's only customers when we hired them to provide the Hunter Douglas shades during the construction of our Eagle home, but owner Holly Mitchell sure made us feel as if we were! Professional in all aspects of the job, on time and prepared for each appointment, in depth expertise in the product line, excellent customer contact and care skills and with a good design eye to make recommendations, we made better choices for our home thanks to Holly's involvement. The shades arrived on time and when the completion of our house was delayed by over a month, Holly was super flexible when we kept calling to need to reschedule the installation. The installation of the shades was excellent too thanks to the installer, Rick, who does this work for WCI. There was one problem with one of the shades on arrival, the windows are large and this shade was a complicated one, that was Hunter Douglas based. Rick was diligent in working with tech support to define the problem and solution on site. Holly's follow through was swift to have the problem shade replaced. Were we in the market for window coverings again (WCI also does draperies and shutters), we would use Window Coverings of Idaho to provide them. We also appreciated that Holly communicated that she appreciated our business. Our experience of having this custom home built was to hear repeatedly from builder how busy the sub contractors, who were often late for their work or careless in completing it, and how difficult it was for them to have yet another house to work on. So it was beyond refreshing to have Holly make every step of working with WCI easy and fun for us. Highly recommended while noting she does not have a storefront; Holly or a member of her design and sales team will bring the product to you throughout the greater Boise area.”
