“I have dealt with Lyndsay of Lindsey Blinds for a couple of window treatment installations for my new place. It's always been a pleasure doing business with her. She's attentive to my wants and needs and gives me ample suggestions of what might work best. I feel as if she is putting a good deal of effort in my behalf so that I am satisfied in the end, not just "another job". Her design expertise has helped out many times. “Liliana is fabulous. You show her a window treatment and she can duplicate it. I hired Lilian to make drapes for my family room in October and they were completed and installed 2 days after we moved into our new home in mid November. I am so glad that I took her suggestion on how high they should be hung. They look fabulous at the hight she recommended. She is now working on dining room drapes, guest bedroom drapes and will begin on the master bedroom drapes”

“I got the gladiator Miami-Dade rated hurricane screen for my lanai - love it - really versatile - can be used during day to block out sun and doesn't deteriorate like polypropylene screens that are common - also keeps out bugs, rain, makes area into screened in porch. Naples Shutter was great to deal with - professional, friendly and follow up with any questions or concerns - went out of their way. I have recommended them to other people who feel the same way.”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
