“When you meet Jan, you encounter a woman with creative talent, warmth, experience, sincerity, poise, professionalism, gentleness, kindness, confidence, and honesty. She has experience, wisdom, and patience. I contacted her for custom window treatments for my historical kitchen and dining room after being disappointed and frustrated having perused through many, many fabrics and consultants and I did not love any of the selections. They all would look decent in the space, but I didn’t love them. I had contacted one consultant because I loved her samples on Houzz and she told me she needed to update them, my tastes were “dated,” and didn’t want to work with me because it sounded like I needed too much say in the process! I started to feel like I would never be able to make a decision. I was upfront with Jan telling her that I had been through many fabric samples and a few consultants over a course of 2 years. Jan helped me to understand that I wasn’t too picky and that fabric is like art. What is beautiful to one person, may not be beautiful to another. It is a matter of what is appealing to you. She also confidently advised that she would not be party to a bad decision. She was there to help not create problems. I felt very confident moving forward. I sent Jan some pictures of my ideas for the spaces. Immediately she got a sense of the look and feel I wanted for the spaces. Jan brought large fabric samples and style samples to my home and helped me select fabrics that I truly loved. I did not feel rushed or overwhelmed as I did in other situations. Within a 30-minute window, I had made a selection of 3! She made it so easy and I enjoyed the process! She ordered large samples of my 3 top choices and hung them up for me to live with for a week or so. I felt confident in my selections, and I truly loved the choices I made. She helped me with the liner choices and truly customized the treatments to the look I was trying to achieve. They are so beautiful and beyond my expectations. I have gotten many compliments on the treatments. Over a year has gone by and I still walk into my spaces and notice my window treatments and I adore them. They look exactly the same as the day they were installed. She hires an A+ installer. He was so kind, efficient, professional and I could tell they had a wonderful, long time, professional relationship. Not only did Jan help me select such beautiful fabric in such a short amount of time, but she created such beautiful pieces. She also gave me the confidence to move forward on other projects. She is a 5 out of 5 stars for me!”
