“I hired Ambiance after an addition to our house to help me pull it all together since I was so confused in which way I wanted to go. Renee stepped in and spent several meetings explaining concepts then proceeded to offer me several alternatives within my budget. Once we decided on the direction there was constant contact with the progress of the orders until they arrived and she delivered them personally to assure we were happy. She supervised and supported the installation and stood by to the very end. It was so refreshing to have such personalized and professional service throughout. In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
