They are one of the only drapery workrooms left in Ventura county so you can rest assured that you will get hands on custom service locally and with over 38 yrs in the business there is not anything they cannot do! Not only do they make draperies but have now become Floor to Ceiling Interiors, designing and servicing every part of the home. “We had an order with another company and it was such an ordeal to fix a simple mistake. Thank goodness, I was able to cancel the order. We called Roger at Budget Blinds after seeing all the reviews and we are so happy we did! Todd came out to our house and helped us to select blinds that would suit our decor and pointed out things that the other company failed to mention as well. Todd came back and installed the Shades and Wood Blinds for us and they look fantastic! I am so glad we called them! I had absolutely no stress with Roger and Todd! Absolutely top notch!”

“We ordered family room drapes, dining room drapes, and kitchen valances from Ecs Draperies. Vinnie was wonderful to work with. He assisted in choosing the appropriate fabrics and styles for our home. They were ready in about 4 weeks. An adjustment was needed on one, so they took it back and fixed it right away. Prices were very reasonable, for both the labor and fabrics. I would highly recommend them.”

“Pacific View Drapery designed roman shades and a coordinating shower curtain for my remodeled guest bath that provides both function and beauty while pulling the look of the room together. Their designer, Marie Langlois, helped me to choose just the right fabrics and hardware that not only look great but will wear well. The pieces were finished and installed in a timely fashion with careful attention to detail. I am currently using their services for the woven wood blinds I need for my guest room as well as the linen look roman shades for my master bath. Their selection of fabrics is amazing and the design service is creative, personal and professional. I highly recommend them.”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
Any fabric can be used, but generally the most common types of fabric used are cotton, silk, linen, polyester, and combinations of these due to their lighter weight and insulating properties.
