“Andrea offered a great service to us from start to finish, she is very knowledgeable about fabric and helped us choose the best type of headings and sizes for all the curtains in our house. The finishes of all the curtains Andrea made for us were brilliant and we have had many compliments from friends and family. She offered additional support in hanging the curtains and when we had a problem with one of the curtains due to the heaviness of the fabric, Andrea kindly resolved this for us very quickly. I would highly recommend Andrea - great service and value for money. Thank you!”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
