In December 2015 I ordered curtains and two blinds out of the same Harlequin fabric. I received the curtains within six weeks. After much correspondence, concern and chasing, eight months later, on Friday 29th July 2016, I received my blinds. The cause of the delay, I was told by Sandra, was a problem with faulty fabric from Harlequin. No compensation was offered for my inconvenience of waiting and paying in advance some £500 for blinds which took seven months to arrive. When I unpacked the blinds it was clear and very obvious that the fabric was very different from my curtains and the sample which I initially choose from, see attached photographs. The blinds were made of a velvet of much higher lustre and sheen and of a more pink colour compared with the sample and curtains. On comparing the blinds to the curtains I also noticed a flaw running horizontally along my curtains. On complaining, I have been constantly fobbed off and told by Sandra ( who tells me she has personal issues to deal with ) that. different batches can have slight differences. This is not a slight variation it looks like a completely different fabric to that which I chose. The service I have had has been very unprofessional and unsatisfactory. I have been expected to wait seven months for matching blinds which, once arrived, don't match. I have spent in the region of £1000 for high quality soft furnishings and received goods that are not fit for me to use in my lounge. I do not want curtains (with a flaw) that don't match the blinds. Kurtinz have not offered any solution to my unsatisfactory service and goods received. Justine Bedford.
