We've had the pleasure and privilege of working with the Aflux team on our newly acquired home, that needed an extensive refurbishment and renovation and spanned over 5 floors. We had lots of ideas but no idea how to implement them or organise it all. Aflux and the amazing Tomasz embraced this challenge with creativity, enthusiasm and carefull attention to detail from start to finish. The design process was a collaborative and inspiring process ,where the talented Sara and Bea worked closely with us to understand our vision, preferences, taste and lifestyle. Their unique eye and attention to detail helped us create a home that is both practical for children but still beautiful. They always brought brilliant ideas to the table and were very patient with us throughout the creative process, particularly in tactfully settling design decisions between me and my partner! Aflux Interiors is a stellar company and we think their stand out quality is their commitment to overseeing the entire process from concept to planning to construction. We recently completed a full renovation of our Mews house. This included the addition of a basement and complete renovation and remodelling of the existing three floors over an 18 month period. We evaluated three design and construction companies before selected Aflux. We were looking for a company that would provide a full service from start to finish, including planning, design, project management of all construction, renovation and design aspects as well as sourcing of furnishings and fixed items. Aflux Designs are a specialist team of extremely likeable and professional individuals and we felt they shared our vision for what we were looking to achieve. They were easy to get on with, listened and had lots of great ideas. The guidance they provided in the early stages resulted in a much improved design/layout from what we had originally envisaged. Aflux took care of all aspects for us, giving us confidence and peace of mind. They were able to show us examples of their previous works as well as introducing us to providers from their trusted network of suppliers and contractors, minimising risk while ensuring high quality, trouble free outcomes. Often, they would introduce us to providers that they had previously worked with, allowing us to make the final selection. Broadly speaking, the process ran along two paths. One focused on construction and the other focused on design and finishes. The Aflux team have great people and expertise in both of these areas. Throughout the process, we were kept fully informed on progress. Following basement completion, Aflux assisted with the selection of suppliers and installers for flooring, windows, internal and external doors, kitchen, bathroom fittings, etc. On the design and interiors aspects, Aflux presented us with numerous beautifully crafted moodboards and accompanied us on showrooms and supplier visits. During the project, there were times when we wanted to make small changes or we visualised new ideas. The Aflux team were always flexible and willing to discuss these and guide us towards an agreed outcome. Needless to say there were times when things didn’t go as well as planned. These were always managed professionally and with openness so that resolutions could be arrived at quickly and to our satisfaction. The Aflux team were always extremely accessible and responsive and took great care and effort on all aspects of the project and were genuinely friendly and fun to work with. All in all, working with Aflux has been an absolute pleasure. We definitely made the right choice in selecting them and we have a beautiful home as a result. Given the size and scale of this project, it is remarkable that we didn’t end up with any major problems and most of it went to plan and even exceeded expectations. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Aflux to anyone considering a Design/build project regardless of how big or small it is.

We bought a 2 bedroom flat in Nottinghill and wanted someone to help us renovate and redesign the layout. We interviewed a couple of interior designers but landed with Aflux. My entire family would highly recommend them. They listened, debated put forward good ideas and kept us in the loop during the entire processes. The entire team from the builders to the designers where always polite and courteous. The team kept things reasonable showing us some items that were very expensive to give us ideas then providing something more realistic. Finally, they were honest about the time frame and did not over committ to what they could deliver. Our entire family would highly recommended them and we are now looking for another place in Holland Park so will definitely contact them again when ready.

Excellent design and build team - everything from planning, architectural redesign, sourcing, full build out and interior design was well coordinate by the Aflux team and delivered a high spec project.

The Aflux team is top notch in many ways and managed to make our renovation journey an exciting and interesting one after several years of it being stressful and disappointing working with a different team! Indeed our story has a great and ugly angle to it and the Aflux team contributed to the vast majority of the great elements of it. Without going into too many details, we bought our property in Herne Hill in Dec 2019 and after working with a different team until Q1 2022, we were ready to stop our "grand" renovation project and simply sell the property and move on at the cost of significant emotional stress and financial losses... we bought our property just before the start of Covid and had to go through planning process, all the many regulations of a new built (yes that was our first mistake to go from a complete renovation to a demolition and new build project), choosing a contractor at a challenging time with cost going up weekly and various parties involved in the project not delivering on time / with expected quality outputs. While we were in the process of selling the property in the summer 2022, we met Sara, Amit and Bea through a colleague of mine. They invested time in our project right away and very quickly got to a point where we felt they had understood what we wanted to achieve with the "potential" project at this point in time -- they conveyed that project to us on an exciting, realistic (time and cost) and reassuring way. We very quickly liked the working relationship with the team and were happy to start again from almost scratch with a new project. The team managed the planning process very well (there was one small hiccup which turned out to be the only one (that we are aware of!) of the whole process and by early Jan 2023, Mario (one of the builders that regularly works with the Aflux team) was on site to start demolishing the whole inside of our house... the construction phase took 11 months and we are thrilled with the results -- we love the end result and even more important to us, the whole process was pleasant, instructive and quite fun! The Aflux team work extremely well together, they each have their respective strengths and collaborate extremely well which makes the client experience so much smoother. We also think that Mario (main contractor) and his team are great at what they do and the fact that the communication between him and Aflux is seamless makes everything so much easier (we saw the reverse during the ugly phase of our project...). Overall, we could not be happier with the end result of our renovation and know very well that this is entirely thanks to Sara, Amit, Bea, the rest of the Aflux team plus Mario and his team. We liked it so much that we left some extension options and no doubt that if we decide to get going with it in the years to come, we know who we want to work with! P.S. i forgot to mention that the project was delivered on time and within the budget!

We were extremely satisfied with Aflux Designs' services. They were very professional and responsive, with fine attention to detail. The works were finished on time and to the high standard. Absolutely recommend working with them.

Amit and the entire team at Aflux are remarkable. From the moment we met on the first site visit, we knew Aflux was something special. They listened, offered their advice, gave us an honest estimate, and walked us through the entire process with plenty of wisdom and wit. When we got the first designs and mood boards back, we were even more convinced we had made the right decision. Aflux remodelled our entire Edwardian flat, from the floorboards to the ceiling roses (and everything in between: rewiring, new bespoke joinery, lighting deign, a new bathroom, and complete redecoration), and delivered on time and on brief, preserving all the period features and the character of the space. The result is exactly what we wanted: in keeping with everything we loved about the original flat, but entirely refreshed with ingenious practical updates and beautiful new fittings and fixtures. We had to move out for four months, but I didn't worry; I knew we were in capable hands. Beatrice was particularly great, staying in touch, offering brilliant design suggestions, and tracking down even the most obscure items. Mario and the build crew were the most polite, personable folks you could hope to meet. They went above and beyond to get everything just right. I can't recommend Aflux highly enough. It was a privilege to work with them. I actually miss them!

World-class in design, service, and execution! We contacted Aflux in the middle of lockdown to start our renovation, and their professionalism and passion came through tremendously even on Zoom. (We ended up doing a side return, reconfiguring the entire ground and first floor, and some other touchups throughout the entire house.) In regard to design, they were very intuitive about our needs, tastes, and gave us thoughtfully curated mood boards that showed that they really listened to and understood us (Sara + Bea). They also provided us with budgets and workplan/timelines and regularly communicated updates, which was very much appreciated (Amit). We also weren't living in London during the renovation, so they sent weekly photos and progress reports which gave us peace of mind in between site visits. We were also incredibly impressed with their building team- not only with the quality of their work but to how respectful they were of our neighbors during the entire process. We also benefitted from the fact that their head contractor is also a brilliant problem solver and understood how we would use/live in the space (Mario). This gave us even more confidence in the entire team- from start to finish we knew we were in very capable hands. We could not be more pleased with our newly renovated home and how truly enjoyable the experience was. We will be working with Aflux again to build an additional pod room at the back of our house...and honestly for any other projects in the future! Please do yourselves a favor and hire them!

My husband and I bought a small house in Notting Hill and wanted to do a full renovation in order to optimise the floor plan. This meant that we not only ripped out almost every floor and completely redesigned the layout, we also applied for and did an extension. We also were looking for interior design help, so wanted a team to take us through the process end-to-end. We ended up finding the Aflux team on Houzz and were drawn to their aesthetic and company values. Once we met Amit, Sara, and Bea, immediately knew we were in good hands and decided to go with them over a few other teams we met. They immediately understood our goals and worked super hard to come up with a plan and options that worked well for us. They were always responsive (both over emails and our whatsapp group) and had a really nice way of presenting options and choices over each week and month of the project. They also went above and beyond to make themselves available to meet with us on the weekends or after working ours to accommodate our busy working schedules. In terms of the house, Aflux was super helpful all the way through this process, coming up with some really clever ideas about how to optimise space and build our house in a quality but affordable way. Small houses have their challenges, and we felt that the team was really creative in coming up with great solutions for us. For example, we really wanted a lot more storage space, and they came up with a beautiful design and an affordable plan to execute, which came out perfectly. We are really pleased with the aesthetic and design of our home and the quality of the work. They helped us think through which things were worth spending more on, and which weren't, and helped us make good choices. They also really listened to us and made sure to meet the standard to which we held the project. We also really enjoyed working with Tomasz, their recommended builder. They always let us know we could work with other contractors, but we decided to go with Tomasz and were really pleased with the experience. He and his team had critically helpful ideas and worked super well with the Aflux team. The quality of the finishing is excellent, and Tomasz is also a pleasure to work with. In the end, the project took a bit longer than we anticipated, though to be expected in the face of some unique challenges such as a global pandemic, lockdowns, and Brexit, but the process run well and the house came out beautifully so we are very happy. We've now been living in our new home for 6 months and just absolutely love it. We definitely recommend working with Aflux- beyond the actual work, we ended up having a lot of fun working with this whole team and count them as friends.

Sara, Bea and Amit were absolutely fantastic! We hired the team for our major house renovation. Sara went above and beyond to ensure our vision was understood and the final project is everything we imagined and more. She was on the other side of the phone whenever we needed help. They created mood boards, came on shop visits and organised regular on site visits. They were reassuring and ensured timeframes were met. It was the best decision hiring Aflux and I couldn’t recommend Sara, Bea and the team enough!

Aflux did a top to bottom full house redecoration and planned and fitted out my entire basement. They are thoughtful and excellent project managers with skilful building teams who execute their vision well. They have extremely good taste - thanks for Sara for choosing only the most lovely finishing, light fittings and colour schemes. A very good team here - capable of handing big and small projects. Excellent builders who were clean and tidy.

Aflux was hired to help with project management and full refurb of our home. The team comes with prior refurb experience and were able to apply many of them to our project. The owners are approachable and responsive to feedback. We would recommend them to people looking for similar services.

Having interviewed various companies we are so glad we went with Aflux. The team have been exceptionally responsive, organised and made the process as stress free and smooth as possible. Our project was a basement excavation, and total refurbishment. Sara and Amit saw us through every step In the process and dealt with all the problems / potential problems. The whole process was difficult but they dealt with everything to perfection. They quickly understood the style I was looking for. We approached Aflux initially for a one stop shop solution for our development in East Dulwich including layout design, planning, structural design and project management and that's exactly what we received! We were both immediately impressed with their creative ideas they brought to the table on our first meeting at the property which resulted in a master suite that exceeded our expectations. We engaged Aflux to re-design and rebuild entirely the basement in our house in Marylebone. It was previously a playroom for the kids with a very ill-thought out placement of the bathroom. With Sara and Beatrice guiding the design, and a wonderful set of skilled and attentive builders led by Mario, our basement has now been transformed into a wonderful and bright bedroom, with a gleaming and snazzy new shower room. We have been extremely happy throughout the entire 3 month project with the helpful and ever present Aflux team on hand for any decision and issue, they have always gone over the top to be friendly and supportive, totally trustworthy, and just basically wonderful. They are brimming with sleek and contemporary design ideas, are always happy to amend or adjust plans to inevitable or unexpected issues, and have always come up with perfect solutions to everything. We Used Aflux Designs to refurbish our house in Northwood (North West London) which involved a double story extension, full internal refurbs including 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an open plan ground floor with kitchen/living room space. Aflux were very knowledgable in sourcing a number of the fittings that went into the house (With affordable prices!) and provided excellent advise from conception to completion, working on the internal designs/drawings and then project managing the extensive build, both managing the builder (who they brought in themselves) and also the third party suppliers for the fixtures and fittings. Overall they did an excellent job. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would be happy to recommend them in their future projects

We hired Aflux due to their experience in merging separate developments and quality in design. We liked the team and project leader, and the fact that they have their own builders of high quality. On top of this, they had access to key/major suppliers with meaningful discounts and were happy to accompany us during showroom visits. In most of the cases it was easy to schedule meeting with project leader and discuss current status, outstanding points and next steps. Overall, lead time agreed initially was met (clearly there were slippages but nothing major) and they were respectful of initially agreed budget trying to meet it. Following completion of the project, Aflux didnt dissapear but we’re always in touch to ensure “post-completion” satisfaction. We would definitely recommend them as high professionals.

After one meeting with Aflux I knew I wanted to work with them after having met with 2 other companies. I liked their down-to-earth approach and I sensed that they care about their customers given the work they put into the first meeting. Given that it was my first big renovation I suspected something might go wrong - so it was important I work with someone I felt I could trust and who would be willing to resolve the problem with me. I love my flat and the team - they are a good bunch of people. I have recommended them to two other friends who have also chosen Aflux. Recently we selected them again for the external works on our building. We hope to use them for the internal building works too once the external is done.

Sara worked with us on the refurbishment of our house in West London, having previously helped us with a full refurb of our Central London flat. She was incredibly devoted to our project and we are delighted with the result. She has great taste and gives precious design advice. We felt that she understood us and constantly took our feedback on-board to create a house that works for us. Sara always presented us with a number of options within our budget and paid a lot of attention to details. Being busy people, it was critical to be able to rely on her to oversee our construction site and liaise with the different contractors. She dedicated a lot of energy into this project which we wanted to be of great design and also practical for our family. We would warmly recommend Sara and Aflux.

We employed Aflux to help us with our kitchen design and overall project management/budgeting of our place in South Kensington. We found them very easy to work with, transparent and always willing to come up with solutions that would not only save us money but be pleasing aesthetically. It was the first time for us to take on such a big project and we could not be more happy with the results and the service we have received from Aflux (Amit, Sara and Prince). When it comes to renovations for your own home, trust and accountability goes a long way. The team at Aflux performed this and more to help me fully renovate my flat in Canary Wharf. I worked most closely with the designer Sara and the builder Tomasz, but Amit was always a call away for any additional requests I had. The team has done an amazing job with the main renovations being my two bathrooms and Kitchen. Sara and Amit had provided me with some invaluable ideas, especially on the entire layout that made everything look just that additional bit better than even I had initially imagined. In addition helped me choose the colours to repaint my walls to the colour scheme of floors that would go well with the choice of my furniture and kitchen schematics. Tomasz building team had great attention to detail when it came to the initial construction work to the final touches. Even after the job was done, he would make himself available for any final bits. Which shows the aftercare they provided after the job is done. It has been an absolute pleasure working with the Aflux team, their professionalism, maybe at times taking me slightly above budget, but still well within my means and getting the job done in the timeframe required. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they really provide some great ideas to that new look you are looking for.

This review is long overdue! My husband and I first encountered Amit and Sara when I was six months pregnant and about to undertake a side and rear extension to our flat. Without a doubt, they were the best decision that we made. From guiding us on the architectural plans, being with us through the planning permission process, overseeing the building project, and all of the fabulous interior design guidance- their partnership and leadership left us feeling as though we were in very good hands. Which was important as we were working out how to manage our newborn. They were very honest and weren't afraid to speak their minds when they knew something wouldn't work, but also would go that extra mile to find a solution if they knew it was important to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them-in fact already have numerous times-and if we ever find it within ourselves to tackle another renovation project, I know who our first call would be to.

Amit, Sara and their builder contact Tomasz worked on a complete refit of my apartment. I also used their contacts for the countertop, flooring and built in wardrobes. It is really difficult to find companies that are easy to work with on construction projects and very often the relationship is soured by the end so I am so relieved that everything went well with Aflux. They were incredibly easy to work with, responsive, creative and did a very good job. Things inevitably go wrong in construction and in my case there was a leak into the neighbours flat. Having Amit to speak to them on my behalf and explain to them the scope of works and time table was invaluable. Amit also has great contacts and recommended good sources for the various items I needed in my flat and a very good builder who has an eye for design. HIs time line was also very useful, and he has an adorable dog. Having Sara to bounce ideas off was great she is really creative, is flexible and willing to incorporate things I want into her ideas. I know that designers are often quite set in what they like/dislike but Sara let me take an active role in the design of my flat which was really important to me. She even drove me to ikea and we had a nice day out picking up bits and pieces. We also visited tile shops multiple times until I was completely happy with what we had chosen. I definitely couldn't have done the project without them and choosing them was the best decision I made out of all the 1000s of decisions I had to make for my renovation project. I thoroughly recommend them and am pleased both with my home and that I can count them as new friends.

Aflux are lead consultants on the renovation and extension of a mews house in central London. Throughout the process, Aflux acted efficiently and professionally, keeping us informed of progress and any issues as they arose. Having acquired an apartment in Central London, I commissioned Aflux to renovate the space. When I got the keys, the space was in serious disrepair. From outdated electricity wiring to pluming that was close to unusable. Working with Amit and his team was an absolute pleasure. They are extremely talented and have a beautiful eye. I bought and live in a property renovated by Aflux. The quality of material used, the design and attention to detail is impressive. I viewed many properties before deciding on this one, and I knew immediately this was the one as soon as I walked in the door. It definitely stood out. Amit has worked and completed one successful project for us - Wardo Avenue in Parsons Green. This was a large house, we acquired on probate and therefore in a terrible condition. It needed restructuring, remodelling and extensions throughout. He was able to take the headache away, consult with all third parties such as the structural engineer, council and planning consultants along with bringing his own team of excellent builders to design, plan and project manage a 10 month project. Most of all, this was all at an amazing price. At tender, they were different from the competition because they offer a comprehensive costing and quotation which was not far from reality once the project was finished. They have a good eye for design, and with their in house builders and excellent sourcing, we achieved a luxury finish but at high street prices! He has an excellent source list and happy to do all the running around. His company works without fixed hours (so almost a 4th emergency service) and they are extremely personable. We could have had a 10 month ordeal, but instead it was the opposite. I would strongly reccomend using Aflux if you want to take the hassle away and get a team that offers real design quality and a look of luxury but without the price tag of the usual london interior designers!
