“We hired Gordon Reese construction for our Kitchen remodel after a lengthy interview process with a number of construction companies. We were impressed with Gordon and his team, their understanding of what we wanted to do as well as clearly outlining the scope of the work based on our budget. We worked with Gordon over a few weeks finalizing the scope of work and contracts and he was very responsive to my many calls, questions and clarifications. We set a start date for the project and on that date he and the project manager arrived with the crew to do a walkthrough of the project and contract to make sure we were all on the same page as we started the remodel. Over the course of the project I met often with our project manager and our lead remodeling professional to check on status, issues and solutions as we progressed with the remodel. Gordon and his team have great relationships with a number of suppliers in the local area that are Green in their building processes and my favorite was our Cabinet company (Precision Cabinet and Trim of Brentwood). Gordon was able to arrange a personal visit and tour of the cabinet companies factory and for me to meet with their local rep to review our final cabinet choices, color and options. It was a great experience and one that made the cabinet selection a breeze for this remodel. I can say that Bruce arrived to work every day on time and worked hard to meet the project deadline. He always left the workspace neat and went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed during the project. The kitchen came out beautiful, the workmanship by our lead remodeling professional was incredible. All of our family and friends love the final result and we could not be happier. On side note, during the construction we found a “surprise” that needed to be addressed that was not related to the kitchen remodel and working with our lead remodeling professional, our project manager and Gordon we were able to address this critical fix with ease as they were able to add the scope to our project and have the lead remodeling professional address it while also working on the kitchen. That little side trip was unexpected but working with our lead remodeling professional along with a number of other folks from the Gordon Reese construction team, we were able to address the fix and not impact the overall project timeline. I highly recommend Gordon and his team for any remodel or construction project! MH Danville CA”

“Creation 7 build the master addition on our house. It is generally understood that having major remodeling done on your house, can be a frustrating process. It's noisy, messy, and usually, goes over budget. I can honestly say that almost none of these were true for our experience with Creation 7. The men were so respectful of our space. They cleaned up at the end of the day - no mess was ever left. The construction generally stayed within budget. These guys were a pleasure to be around also. They were funny and nice, but also respectful of our need for privacy. Also our completed addition! It's so gorgeous! Everything is in perfect working order. Their eye for detail and overall craftsmanship is amazing. I really can't say enough how great our en suite master bedroom is. It has transformed our house from an old boring space into our dream house. I highly, highly recommend Creation 7!”

“We hired K-H Custom Home Solutions to remodel the shower in our master bathroom after we had the shower pan replaced. The replacement effort destroyed much of the original wall tile. That tile was 25 years old and was used throughout the room. It was also used in the our other 2 bathrooms.. But it is impossible to find new tiles that match the original color. We needed a remodel that used a different tile color but that blended seamlessly with the rest of the room and would enhance the appearance instead of looking like a repair or add-on. Fortunately, we found K-H and Ken Jones, the owner. Ken and his crew did a fantastic job. It was so well done that one really can't tell where the new tile work begins, and yet the shower stall is much more elegant than the original one. We couldn't be more pleased. Ken is a real professional and his crew are skilled craftsmen who strive for perfection in their work. We will definitely hire them for any future work on our house.”

From my first interaction with their manager, Darlene Gayler, I was impressed by the professionalism of the office staff, by their attention to detail, and very clear approach and process to every project. They have high expectations of every participant on a project, have systems in place to ensure tracking and clarity from both the provider and client side. “Great job Bear!! We were all over the place with how we wanted our kitchen and Bathrooms to look like. Idan was able to creat a digital design and layout of our house and we together added and removed objects and modified the design. We were able to visualize and understand what we want in 2 visits. Idan took care of all stages of the design And permits and was able to completed two bathrooms and a kitchen in 6 weeks allowing us to still live in the house which saved us a lot of money. Punctuality, honesty, professional. Thank you Idan and thank you Bear!”

“Amarant Design has made specular design changes to the interior of the homes. Amerant Design people have worked on many of the same homes we have. As a Heating and Air Conditioning company we come in after Amerant design has finished the remodel to set thermostats and register covers. The quality of Amerant Design's work and the home owner's respect for Amerant Designs people is remarkable. I have to say Amerant Designs changes to a home can be breath taking. We start our work first and see Amerant Designs work at the end. And the home owners are thrilled at how smoothly it all went. “We recently completed our 3rd large scale project with SF Design Build .... first a major remodel of our condo in 2008.... then a major seismic upgrade for our entire building in 2010...and now a complete exterior painting and new deck construction and maintenance completions for the entire building (a three story structure in NOPA). Basically they went over this entire huge building tooth and nail fixing and updating every inch. Our 87 year old wood construction building is now in near perfect condition. We keep returning to Rudy, Jessica and the SFDB team for the simple reason that they are honest, professional, thorough, budget-wise and conscious and have excellent follow up. The quality of the work by Samuel, Hugo, Ceasar, Eric and the others is excellent. These guys are real craftsmen and it shows. What a pleasure to see their finished work! All of the workers are company employees and have been with SFDB for all the years we have used the company. No day hires! We bid this work, as we did our other projects, and SFDB once again came in competitive. (they were not the cheapest but also held an advantage over "just" painting contractors because as a general contractor they have their own scaffolding. the other painters bid the work then had an "add on" for scaffolding that in some cases could add $5k to the cost.) they completed the work on budget. No gimmicks, add ons etc. during the work they found that some planking on one side of the building had been repaired poorly many years ago and had to be replaced. this added about 3 days to the job with some cost increase but they showed how it was necesary. One of the best things about SFDB is that there are no surprises. They work entirely through the project with no gaps or no show days. they clean up EVERY DAY and leave the work site as accessible as possible, respecting the owners living space. I would highly recommend SF Design Build. Like the PGA ads on television ... "These Guys are Good!...."”

“I can't say many wonderful things about Green California Builders. I wanted to built a new home and had no idea where to start in regards to design and construction permits. I heard about these guys because of my friend. I met EZ (the main project manager) after scheduling the appointment. He guided us through the entire process with ideas, advises and material selection. I liked his vision and we agree on the budget. Few days later the project started. After few months, we now have a wonderful new house. I'm so grateful to choose these guys and I recommended them 100%!!!”
