He was so professional and creative, but even better, he made the process amazingly fun! Because we were not sure what we would find inside the walls or under the floors of this sweet old house, everyday was an adventure for me with Mark and his high qualified subcontractors. 5 layers of wallpaper, 4 layers of linoleum, oaks floors on top of fir floors, truly vintage kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures and electrical surprises were never a stress, more like an exciting challenge. I would email him a list of questions or ideas, and the same day Mark would answer me and arrive at the site to meet me with suggestions and answers to update but honor the historical value of my home. It's hard for my family and friends to understand that I enjoyed everyday of my challenging remodel!”

“Ktichen renovation. First experience with remodeling. The Hahka team were professional and supportive. Designer Linda Billings was extremely accessible and helpful. Her suggestion to incorporate an island with the character of furniture is the statement piece that adds the "wow" factor to our kitchen. General contractor Randy Hahka very clearly has a personal interest in quality work. He strongly lobbied for the replacement of louvered pantry and laundry doors with doors that more closely matched the new cabinetry-although more costly, this was definitely the right decision from a design perspective. The construction team were skillful, friendly, honest and easy to work with. We did have a few whoopsies, but I understand this is par for the course with renovation projects and at the end, nothing was left unresolved. The team very clearly made great efforts to provide customer satisfaction. Job was not completed on time, mainly due to issues with pantry/laundry doors. Very happy with the results of our project.”
