“We worked with Finch & Company to design and build a house on our lot in Chickahauk/Southern Shores in 2014/2015. The whole process was very collaborative. All of his employees and sub-contractors were easy to work with and did an outstanding job. Even after being in the house a year, our entire punch-list at the end of construction was minimal with each item being addressed as needed. Although we did not live nearby during the build, they kept us up to date with the progress and sent pictures so we could experience the process. When we visited, the site was always kept clean; existing residents on the street had no issues with the construction which showed they were considerate on noise and other issues. During walkthroughs at critical times, we were able to make minimal adjustments without fee changes - which indicated that he had interpreted our needs well during the design period. Construction was solid and finish was excellent. They handled the scheduling and installation of appliances and other sub-contracting well. The only delay was at the beginning because of scheduling of meeting by the HA ARB. After that, all timelines were met. Even after storms and winds, the house is solid and comfortable and exactly what we wanted in our "forever" home!”
