I am more than happy with the work i have just had done it started as a small job but i soon found more, i had my main roof ridge tiles redone also my sunroom roof retiled the interior ceiling redone and some AMAZING woodwork they are meticulous in their work a VERY HIGH standard, very tidy courteous good time keepers, they use all good quality materials and i am about to have a large fish pond dug in...i cant recommend them enough!!!!”

“I can't rate Hartwood highly enough. They designed and built an oak framed two bay garage with work space above. Right from the start they were efficient, very friendly and utterly professional. Whilst they were not the cheapest I was so glad I decided to use them. No extras other than the things I asked for. The site was always tidied at the end of the day and any queries were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. What's more they're a genuinely 'nice' team to have on your property. I missed them when they left!”

“I have used the GD Group a for a couple of jobs in my old house; decorating my first child's nursery, landscaping my garden and re-vamping my kitchen. GD Group came to my house and gave me an estimate for the work and, on the whole, they stuck to it. I appreciate that when the design changed (because I changed my mind!) this effected the costs but they discussed this with me thoroughly beforehand and gave me all the options, so there were no 'hidden charges'. It felt like GD Group took the time to get to know me, what I was after and the style/nature of my home and this made a big difference. The Landscaping of my garden was a huge job and I was beyond pleased with the finished results, so much so that we seriously debated selling our house because we loved it so much. Funnily enough, its the first thing the buyer commented on for his viewing and it became one of the key selling points of the house. GD Group were really tidy around the site, they were always really polite and respectful of my home and belongings, which to me was really important. They turned up on time and did a good day's work. They came up with design ideas that I hadn't thought of; they really know their stuff. My kitchen re-vamp was a significantly cheaper job that the garden works, but I never once felt that they didn't take this job as seriously or give as much dedication because it was a smaller budget. The finish and work was excellent. I had used painters/decorators before and once they'd left I'd found a few 'snagging' bits that I wasn't happy with and trying to get them back in was a nightmare. I didn't have any of that with the GD Group. I am now in the process of getting the GD Group to come into my new home to do the works I need done. They have already suggested some excellent ideas for our garden that work in our budget; I need a space for adults and a space for young children in a relatively small garden and what they have suggested and designed works perfectly and is affordable for us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the GD Group as finding a tradesperson/company that I can trust has been such a peace of mind for me, so much so that I haven't gone around getting quotes for my new house, I've just called them back in.”

“We asked Mark if he could put in some steps up a steep slope at the back of the garden. What he came up with was hugely imaginative and totally transformational to the garden. The steps, made of railway sleepers, sweep around in an arc, circumventing a tree stump that he came across when digging in the steps. What would have been an obstacle to many he made into a feature. It was a simple, low cost, but highly impactful solution to our request. Mark has a wonderful eye for landscaping, is hard-working, reliable, a total perfectionist, and a delight to work with. I can not recommend him highly enough!”
