“We hired Nick and Paul at Raylian to lead a tricky 550 m2 office conversion into residential space in a prime location central Chiswick. Along with the practice personal creative skills I was very impressed by their technical know how. The teams knowledge of building regulations, local authority planning requirements and technical building skills saved me a substantial amount in architects fees and it was comforting to experience their confidence when addressing the builders and trades and the respect they attracted. The creative design planning stage and specification for finishes and furnishings was professional and stress free. It was great to have a designer sketch their ideas while explaining their thoughts. Discussing ideas in 3D is a real advantage. Given the licence to express themselves they came up with some really great ideas. Project management was equally important, especially with all the H&S requirements attached to the industry these days. I also felt once the budget was approved they made a good effort to protect it right through to completion. “In November last year, 2020, during a period of lock down, we had a serious water leak under our kitchen floor, and no idea what was causing it. I contacted Pegasus, our local builder, to seek help as a matter of some urgency! Although clearly busy, Pegasus responded straight away, sending a senior manager to assess the situation, which my wife and I - senior citizens who live on our own - much appreciated. They were then able to provide a very good workman to investigate and identify the cause of the leak which was then quickly rectified. Further work was then carried out to repair the damage prior to another local company laying the new floor covering. “This was not our 'forever house' so we had a limited budget in mind to improve it when I contacted Barclay Interiors. We revamped a kitchen, playroom, drawing room and dining room. They came and chatted and had with some wonderful ideas so we decided to go ahead. Their tradesmen were thoroughly professional from first to last and a pleasure to have in the house. The designers worked with me carefully and understood my taste but still managed to introduce new and exciting ideas. Colours, wallpapers and fabrics and even the furniture itself - up cycling existing furniture and buying new. My home is now unique. We have the maximum use of the space and everything flows, so we won't be moving anytime soon! I cannot recommend them enough for making my home both beautiful and comfortable too.
