They were communicative throughout our project, and also flexible and creative about working with the unusual features of our restored-barn home. They respected the original character of the house, while turning a very worn kitchen and three bathrooms into modern, practical, attractive, fun, and eco-friendly rooms. They were very attentive to the budget and schedule - presenting us with multiple options for each major expense item, and dedicating extra time to our project in order to address a few surprises that the unusual structure of the house threw our way.”

“We selected J&B over 4 other contractors to finish our basement and create a bonus room (laundry/craft/sewing room) over our garage. From beginning to end, J&B were consummate professionals - they were continuously available regardless of the day or time of day, they were courteous in both word and action and they were highly respectful of our home's private space. In addition to these important client sensitivities, J&B did exceptional work in our basement and bonus room - the attention to detail and workmanship was extraordinary; we frequently receive compliments about our basement and bonus from guests. While there were a couple issues along the way, J&B rapidly corrected the situation and made good on the work. “MBR remodeled a 1963 home for me in Sept. 2013. They replaced a full bath, a half bath and a kitchen as well as painted and patched, repaired electrical and plumbing issues, and landscaped the front and back yards. The house sold the first week on the market at almost full asking price. George Kall is a real professional with lots of experience. He ran the project in a way that required very little from me, which was wonderful, as I was not living in the property and could not come by often to check on the progress. He addressed any problems very promptly. He made excellent suggestions when I was unsure of a direction to take. He called in a roofer, a plumber, an electrician, and painters. He also dealt with a cranky neighbor quite well. The only negative was I lost an expensive Miele vacuum cleaner - it disappeared during the remodeling and MBR was not able to find out where it went.”

“Construction Solutions completed three projects for me within a four year period. The first was to dismantle and rebuild a water-logged tub surround. They replaced the window with glass blocks for privacy and a sliding screen window for ventilation. Although it has been four years, it still looks like new. only a little touch up on the window has been necessary. the second and third were completed two years ago. one was laying down paving stones for a patio with a walkway; the other was replacing windows with a customized bay and window seat. I have been very pleased with the results. My older children enjoy drinking their coffee every morning semi reclined in the sunlight.”
