Designer/decorator Pat Westgate was so easy to work with, accompanying me to granite, tile, appliance and plumbing showrooms, all of which were totally overwhelming. She gently guided me to the best choices, gave her opinions when asked, whittled choices down when there were too many, etc. She was also a great resource when choosing lighting, always difficult for us since my husband and I have different tastes in that regard. She and Project Manager Jim Goin suggested some design changes that we are very happy with. Friends comment on how "solid" the house is--so well insulated from outside noise. It's an exceptionally well built house, with great attention to detail.”

“Joel did a complete renovation on my main bathroom, stripping it down to the bare bones, including removing walls, and then building it up again. My house is 260 years old and I was very concerned about it fitting in with the rest of the house. Joel did a fabulous job, including refinishing the original pin floor and pine vanity, building a laundry closet and a beautiful corner cabinet for sheets and towels. He did complex tile work and installed all new lighting as well as a new clawfoot tub, toilet and marble top for the vanity. He even helped me pick out new colors for the walls. I highly recommend Joel for all your remodling needs.”

They are a complete remodel firm with computer design and interior decorating help. They were extremely patient as we worked through the design process looking to optimize the limited space we had. Demolition began on schedule and the project is moving along on schedule. This is a long distance remodel and they have been wonderful with keeping us updated on the progress with pictures, e-mails and phone calls.”

“Our experience with Northstar was top notch! As soon as we met Wes and Mcgregor I knew this was the Contractor to build our retirement home. They are both very professional and personable. We worked on the plans for our home and met with Wes and Mcgregor at least twice a month to lay out the rooms and make additions or deletions for 9 months before we broke ground. Once the project began we had open communication and never did we feel like we couldn't interject and make a change after the fact. Every day during the building process felt like Christmas. Something new and exciting to see! Wes spent his Saturdays sitting with us and the kitchen designer (for hours), looking at windows and sliders, taking us to a custom hardwood shop to choose our flooring. We didn't expect such personal treatment and it was so nice to have his expertise throughout the project. This is not a job for Wes it's a labor of love!
