The work was delivered on time and on budget and any changes to the original agreement were always costed out before being carried out. Above all what I value about my experience with the Andrew Kerr Construction Company is the quality of its leadership team, starting from Andrew himself to his all important full time foreman on the site (Pavel in the case of our our project) , and the expertise of the rest of the staff and the specialist subcontractors. The whole team worked like a well-oiled machine, one that was enhanced by the courtesy and extreme helpfulness of the foreman himself, perhaps the most critical person for the success of our particular renovation experience. The attentiveness to the customer's whims (my own), and his neighbors all around in the apartment block building, was quite unprecedented from my long experience with such residential renovation projects. But of course at the end it is the quality of the work that counts the most. From this point of view I admit to being a very exacting client; nonetheless, after careful inspection, I could find nothing to fault in the work of Andrew's team.

Andrew and his team undertook the full refurbishment of my four bedroomed terraced house in south-west London. There was limited structural work and this was perhaps a smaller job that Andrew's norm. He nonetheless displayed admirable attention, focus and thoughtfulness about the job at at all points from start to finish. He gave the project a lot of personal attention, ensuring that he was on top of every material detail and reporting in a timely manner when issues arose or decisions were needed. Andrew also recognised the budget parameters to which I wanted to work and came up with imaginative and sensibly priced proposals for the fit out, finishes etc. His team was professional and their workmanship of the highest quality throughout, aware no doubt that Andrew's eye misses very little when it comes to the snagging stage. Overall, the end result delivered on the brief and looked great. The end price, even including a few agreed overruns, was fair particularly given the quality of the job done. A few years on, the work has stood the test of time, both in terms of operation and finish.

Andrew Kerr Construction carried out the refurbishment and extension of a large semi-detached private house in Primrose Hill in 2007/8 for which we were the architects and designers. The project included the sensitive restoration of many period details (staircase, panelling, skirtings, doors and cornices etc) and the creation of a very contempory open plan kitchen/dining/living area on the lower ground floor and extensive landscaping and external works, including an infinity lap pool. The workmanship was of a very high standard, and the attention to detail and commitment from Andrew himself exemplary. The project was made more challenging by the disappearance of the Project Manager to Australia at very short notice halfway through the work, but despite this the project was completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
