EYKING is an award winning interior design, architecture and build company. We are able to create your dream space from concept to completion - simple, one stop, and entirely client driven. We combine architect Bart Eyking’s gift to create unique interiors with his award winning talent for architecture and a personal passion for art, design and antiques. His work as an architect and furniture designer has gained consistent international media attention and much acclaim in the industry. In order to design and build your perfect work or living space and ensure a high quality and beautiful finish, EYKING offers a professional Design & Build service alongside outstanding yet affordable architectural and interior design services. About Bart - Awards & Experience Bart qualified as an architect and urban designer in 1996. Having joined a prestigious Dutch architectural firm he wins the coveted European Europan 5 competition for young architects in 1999. Followed by the first prize in the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects competition of 2001. Both entries were made in cooperation with Patrick de Louwere and in 2004 the two young men take the plunge and found their own office for architecture and interior design in Rotterdam – eijkingdelouwere. They quickly make their mark as the ‘go-to’ address for office design and were handed a 2006 Best of Year Large Office Design Award by US Interior Design magazine in the Guggenheim Museum, New York. We know Bart since we studied together at TU Delft, he is a very clever designer with a creative taste. He can manage all the works you need to refurbish your house or to plan and realize the house of your dreams. We have been working together for the renewal of an apartment on the Como Lake, it was a great collaboration! We highly recommend him!

I am delighted with the finished result and was impressed by Bart's warm, friendly, engaged and professional manner. He was creative, realistic and very ready to adapt plans, listening to my requirements and working together as the project progressed. The work took longer than expected, (as always), but I was kept in the loop and the workmen were considerate and tidy. I felt the relationship with the company was personal and that they were committed to ensuring that I was happy with the end result.

Bart designed our house in the Rotterdam area. He assisted us in the negotiations with our contractor. And he stays involved in the constructing process: closely monitoring all aspects of the contstruction process. It's a pleasure working with Bart. His enthusiasm is contagious. He listens to your wishes and creates a design that respects your wishes and introduces new elements and products. The overall result beats your (already high) expectations!

Smart. Elegant. Professional. Honest. Innovative. We had a tremendously positive experience with our gut renovation and it is because of Bart. We would (and have) highly recommended his firm to anyone requiring a talented architect. Bart is very clever at making the best functional use of given space without compromising on style or detail. For example, our home in central London had 2 bathrooms right next to one another and a hallway. Bart suggested doing away with the hallway and combining that with the bathroom spaces to create one large master suite which included a master bathroom with bespoke marble interior, steam shower, large bathtub AND a double sinked dressing room with gorgeous Hermès leather closet doors and fabrics. With Bart, there is no detail too small. Quality is impeccable. He is very good at sourcing and passes along these benefits to his clients. He examines the situation and comes up with a bespoke solution which doesn't compromise on quality while being mindful of costs - a tough undertaking. He is both transparent and honest. Bart is dedicated to his craft, highly responsive and nothing but professional.
