Design and Build Companies in Formby, Merseyside

“From the very beginning, Andy and Aud were absolutely brilliant. We didn't really know exactly what we wanted from our extension, it's only taken us 20 years of debating and procrastinating between my husband and I and finally we found Andy and Aud who listened to our endless chatter about putting together an extension plan. They took all of the pressure off us and guided us through the process with patience and expertise. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they identified things we would never have thought about ourselves. We went through several design iterations, and they worked closely with us until we arrived at a solution that was not only beautiful but also practical and perfectly suited to the way we live. Our son loves his new bedroom, which wasn't in our initial plans and my kitchen is my dream, my husband got his 'man cave' and our daughter is living her best life inviting her friends round for dinner, drinks and fun. The quality of the design work was exceptional, and when it came to the build, everything was so well thought through that the builders had no issues with any aspect of the plans. That made the whole process run much more smoothly and gave us real confidence that we were in safe hands. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for architects who combine creativity, technical expertise and a genuine commitment to getting things right.”

“I have been working with Joshua at The Finn’s Group for over a year on our single storey rear extension and garage conversion, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. From our very first conversation, it was clear that Joshua operates at a different level. His knowledge, clarity and confidence immediately stood out, and that standard has been consistent throughout the entire process. Communication has always been prompt, clear and thoughtful, which made a complex project feel far more manageable. Joshua has added value well beyond the core build. He introduced us to his architect who supported with the drawings, guided us through the planning permission process with real expertise, and made himself available for regular calls to ensure every detail aligned with what we wanted. At no point did anything feel rushed or overlooked. What really sets him apart is his ability to take ownership and execute quickly. As part of our planning conditions, we needed to reinstate part of the front garden. Joshua handled everything. Within a matter of days he had arranged a landscaper, organised delivery of topsoil and turf, and had the work completed in a single day. It was seamless and removed a huge amount of pressure from us. He has also connected us with high quality suppliers, including kitchen companies, which has been incredibly helpful in pulling everything together as we come closer towards the beginning of the build phase. Overall, The Finn’s Group have been professional, proactive and extremely reliable. They brings a level of care and attention that is rare in this space. If you are looking for someone who genuinely knows what they are doing and makes the entire process smoother, I would highly recommend. I look forward to working with them on the rest of my project!”
