From our first meeting with Gary, we immediately got a sense of professionalism and attention to detail. The subsequent quote was very comprehensive and at a fair price for what was being proposed. During the build process we found the whole GEC team to be highly skilled and experienced, with most having worked together for GEC for many years. From start to finish everything was handled very professionally. Gary was a pleasure to deal with, he was very honest and open to discussion at any time, whether it was explains the detail or making suggestions to improve the design or overcoming unexpected surprises when doing the ground works. Start and completion dates were well communicated and adhered to, communication was excellent throughout, even when we were not around ourselves. The Construction team were an absolute pleasure to have around our home and treated ourselves, the property with respect including being very considerate to any impact on our neighbours. Major plus factor was the guys who were here everyday work directly for the company and took great pride in their work. To create the foundations and the patio area required 92 tonnes of spoil to be removed. Cleaned up every evening before they left despite working through rain, snow and frosty conditions. Embarking on our first ever extension and renovation, we were a bit apprehensive about managing the project so opted for a company (GEC Luxury) which included project management. So glad we did - no having to organise which people would need to be on site on which dates for which jobs, as Gary took care of all this. We were really pleased with the quality of the work done (rear extension, with a bedroom extension above one half of it and a balcony above the other; garage conversion; alteration of glazing for one of the balcony bedrooms; decoration; light fittings - I've probably missed a few things), and the care, consideration, skill and professionalism shown by all the team. Our preferred line of communication was via email, and this worked very well - we always had a response to our late-night emails within 24hrs, and all communication was very transparent. All of the on-site workers were also very clear with their communication and happy to answer questions when we were on site. They were also very tidy and friendly. Highly recommended - GEC will be our 'go to' for any future work.

Gary and his team were a professional throughout the build. Always delivered on promises, good communication and open transparent dealings. I have worked with many builders over the years but none have come close to this team in terms of the quality of their build. There were many challenges along the way but they were always tackled head on and resolved. Great bunch of guys. Polite, communicative and easy to work with. These guys were excellent, the quality of the work they’ve carried out is second to non, even the neighbours commented how much care was taken during the build whilst we were at work. Steve the PM keeps you up to date with progress and sorts out any tricky unforeseens. Gary was also very reasonable about the final Cost considering the amount of obstructions they found in the ground and how many times we had to tweak the design on site to make it work. Cannot recommend enough!

Gary and his team completed a single storey extension for us a few years ago, and when we moved house and needed a kitchen redesign, we didn't even consider anyone else to do the project. Excellent communication from start to finish. Everything was co-ordinated seamlessly. Nothing was too much trouble and unexpected imperfections left from previous building work were corrected without hassle. The level of attention to detail was superb, leaving a high quality finish. We had never embarked on a building project and were nervous. We requested a quote from GECC Ltd to knock through a wall for kitchen diner and also to extend and were struck by Gary's professionalism and knowledge. Within days the quote was prepared and once accepted, a programme schedule was sent to us. By and large the schedule was adhered to and all deliveries and deadlines were coordinated smoothly by Gary and Steve the project manager. The whole team under Steve were brilliant. Very experienced and works were completed to a very high standard. There was minimal disruption and the team went out of their way to help us eg. washing machine availability for most of the build. Steve even cleaned the site on a daily basis. I would like to thank the company for bringing our dreams to reality and would highly recommend them.

It will be ten years this Autumn since I moved in to my house. Even then I had plans for how my little 2-up 2-down end terrace could be extended to meet the ever demanding and growing needs of me and my two daughters. Twelve months ago landscapers dug up my garden - a clay pit - and transformed it into a stunning outside sanctuary. The project wasn't completed because at "some point soon" I was determined I was going to have my extension as the house had suddenly become too small to contain us any longer. Work on my two storey side extension and extended kitchen-diner began in October and completed in February. To say my dreams have come true is an understatement. Every morning and before bed I stand in my fabulous new kitchen and I have to pinch myself because it's even better than I imagined. It's all we could ever want and need and we love it. My daughters now have a bedroom each so the threat of imminent death has been averted at least until the teenage years! I was always consulted and was kept fully informed as to what was happening next and who'd be arriving on any given day (I think that was something to do with making sure I brewed enough tea!) This was really important to me as I was then fully confident in asking questions, making decisions and also seeking your advice because I always felt like it was your priority to ensure I was getting value and quality for my money. I hired GECC to manage extensive renovations to our house, to include internal building works, electrics, plumbing, bathroom installation, plastering and decorating. The progress was constant and ongoing, the workmen were exceptional and they took incredible care of the property while on site. The respect and enthusiasm for delivering my project was just what I needed and my wife and I felt in control and in safe hands. In 2016, we hired GECC Ltd to undertake our large extension which comprised a two storey side extension, garage conversion and single-storey extension across the back of our detached property, as well as remodelling the rear garden. WE found Gary and his team to be professional, courteous, reliable, honest and with great humour kept us fully involved in the project every step of the way. Family, friends, neighbours and complete strangers regularly commented on the high standard and efficiency of the build and how tidy the site was kept at all times. Due to this not only did we have his team fit our new kitchens, bathrooms and other internal improvements but GECC Ltd secured and is currently undertaking a wrap-around extension at our daughter's property.

We employed GECC to fully renovate and extend our 3 bedroom house. The project was completed within the time frame specified. The communication during the building works was consistent and gave us peace of mind throughout, as we were unable to visit the site regularly. We are really pleased with the work that Gary and his team undertook in 2015, and very happy to recommend GECC to others. The project involved demolishing previous structures and building two new ground-floor extensions comprising a garden room, shower, utility and store rooms on new foundations and to match brickwork from the 1930s. Gary gave us good advice about design and materials and was in evidence at key stages throughout the whole process, managing the site and monitoring progress. Very impressed with Gary and his team. They completed a single storey rear extension for us December 2015 to an extremely high standard. The team were polite and considerate to us and our neighbours at all times. The quality of the build and finish was excellent. The project was managed seamlessly from start to finish- we could have happily gone away for a few weeks and come back to the end result, looking exactly as we had envisioned. I employed GECC to renovate my newly purchased house. I approached various builders from the local area to quote for the work, and I must admit that I was most impressed with GECC (and in particular the owner Gary) right from the onset. Gary's approach to the project was extremely professional and after 30 minutes with him the initial ideas he came up with were amazing. I had little idea of exactly what I wanted and basically asked Gary to design me something that he thought would be suitable for me. Gary completely redesigned the upstairs of the house, knocking down walls, building walls, moving the bathroom, installing a full walk-in shower the likes of which I have only seen in top hotels - these are all things I had never even considered when I purchased the house. The piece of work which has really made a difference is the under-floor heating system he installed. What a wonderful alternative to radiators! Thank you Gary, a great idea of yours!! I must also comment on Gary's employee's - what a credit they are to his company. They were all extremely courteous and hardworking, and have done a wonderful job of turning a shabby house from the 1930's into my new home. As well as the construction work Gary did on the house, a nice option for me to have was his Interior Design team. They did an excellent job of choosing the décor for the whole house and made the house ready for me just to move in. Perfect for somebody like me who isn't too good at that type of thing! The whole project was delivered ahead of schedule and more importantly, on budget and the final finish is to extremely high standard. Having just had GECC to build us a bespoke porch, oak framed garage and oak gates, I felt compelled to write a review. From the initial design stage, through to the build and then to the final fitting, we have been extremely pleased with the friendly, professional service Gary and his team has provided. The craftsmanship of GECC's work has dramatically improved our property. We would have no quibbles in recommending them to others.

We first used Gary Earp in 2014 for a farmhouse extension after being recommended by our architect, he stuck to the quote given and his staff we very helpful and kept a tidy site, the finish date slipped because of Christmas and the weather. The finished job was excellent and there was no snagging. Since then we have used him on other properties and will not hesitate to use him and recommend him in the future.

GECC converted my triple garage and loft into a luxurious, beautifully finished reception room with bi-folding glass doors looking out onto the garden, a kitchen, loo and games room with staircase leading up to en-suite bedroom. All team members professional, courteous and helpful and with exacting attention to detail, delivered on time and exceeded our high expectations. Last year we employed GE Construction Ltd to build a kitchen extension and patio area, and I must say we are delighted with the end result. Gary Earp wasn’t known to us before we employed him and from his very first visit it was very obvious to us that he was very professional, had very high standards and high expectations from his team. We discussed our plans in depth and everything went like clockwork under Gary’s supervision. We were initially worried about having a team of tradesmen around the house for three months however it was no problem at all. The team arrived promptly at 8.00 am every day and left at 4.30 pm leaving everywhere clean and tidy. There was no smoking on site and no bad language. His team were very polite, considerate and conscientious taking great pride in their work. Gary was always around and was happy to help with any queries that we had and to advise us on any issues that arose during the project. Since the extension was completed Gary has been back to check that everything is o.k and for piece of mind we know he is only a phone call away. I don’t think we could have chosen a better company than GE Construction Ltd to build our new kitchen and we would have no hesitation in recommending the company to others.
