Tom and his team are wonderful - I can’t recommend them enough . From the first day when I needed a quote , to the last day , just sorting out a couple of inevitable bits. All the team- from electricians , plasterers, painters, plumbers etc are highly skilled and have been a pleasure to have in the house and have put up with a very annoying dog to boot ! Tom has made what could have been a very stressful time incredibly easy - communicating everything that was going to happen and when, returning phone calls quickly, sorting out a real headache of an issue with the council building regulations and dealing with my kitchen fitters directly. All in all a brilliant team - and will absolutely use them again.

KW completed a kitchen / dining room renovation for us, including taking out and then supporting a large load bearing wall and adding a new window. They were professional throughout with everyone onsite very pleasant and communicative. Happy to recommend.

From the very start of our interactions with KW Developments, we were very impressed. Tom was clear about how he could help us achieve our build - he came up with a very good option that our architect had not thought of and gave a clear quote and expected timescale. Once the work started anyone - who undertook the different parts of the work - came when they said they would, did what they were expected to do - always clean, tidy, polite and happy to help and answer questions along the way. They dismantled a conservatory, enabled a kitchen extension, added outside decking and after the correctly estimated 12 weeks, we had a brilliant new space. They worked closely with the kitchen company to made sure everything for the installation went smoothly per the plans. I would not hesitate to recommend them - if we had more work to do, they would be the first and probably only company I would consider. HUGE thanks to the team!

We are so grateful that we found KW Developments to undertake our renovation. They carried out a large rear extension, small side extension and significant internal remodelling for us in 2023. Tom is a rare gem of a builder; combining years of building experience and knowledge with great people skills, and scheduling to rival anyone’s. Before works began, he gave us a timeline which he completely stuck to, allowing us visibility to plan for when we would need to be away from the house and when we would have to source final finishes for. Tom has amassed a fantastic team of people to work for KW. Not only are they highly skilled, they are also personable, polite, friendly and always willing to stop and answer a question. This made living on site during most of the build as painless as it could be. I never felt uncomfortable in my home, despite how many people were here working, and I was here most of the time. They were especially generous with their time with our three young children who have amazing memories of the renovation, such as making sandcastles with the builders in the middle of the new kitchen! Tom came to site regularly and was always available if I needed to speak with him, and problems the house threw up were handled swiftly and with minimum stress to us. You hear so many horror stories, but this is anything but. KW have built us a beautiful home, finished to a high standard and left us with only happy memories of their time here.

Tom & Simon from KW Developments had previously carried out a kitchen refit and structural work at my home so they were my go to company for replacing 2 tired old bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. As with my previous experience, I cannot fault them in any way. They started and finished the work when they said the would, on budget and to a very high standard of workmanship. They, and the tradespeople they use, are always very considerate of the people living in the house, minimising mess and disruption as far a possible. I recommend KW to any friends who ask me for a reliable building company.

KW Developments were efficient, courteous and completed the project to a high standard in line with the detailed schedule provided. Structural works carried out to enable a total kitchen re-design and re-fit.

Highly recommended. From first inspection through to quote, build and finishing, this was a quality project. Tom Knox and the KW team managed the project, including the architect and kitchen to finish in the planned 10 week schedule. Costings were realistic and the payment schedule worked to set milestones throughout the works. Professionalism from the team was excellent and this was evident in the end product quality. I have relied on KW Developments for several major work packages at my house, including replacing the main bathroom and the kitchen, and have been so happy with the work and results that I have recommended them to several of my friends. Testament to the quality of their work is that fact that my friends who have gone on to use KW Developments also speak very highly of them. Tom and Simon work closely with other companies to ensure seamless integration of deliveries, build schedules and other contractors (such as kitchen/bathrooms suppliers and fitters). They work hard from the first meeting to ensure that they understand your requirements and communicate to you exactly what will be needed to meet your expectations meaning that there are no mid-project hidden costs for something that was not identified early on. Once agreed, they effectively project manage the works, keeping you informed of progress and discussing with you any issues. I will certainly use KW Developments for any future work I need conducting and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Garage to kitchen conversion. After meeting with Tom who came across friendly, helpful and very professional, we knew KW Developments were the builders to appoint. Tom advised his team would have the works completed two days before Christmas day which meant they only had 5 weeks to complete but to our amazement they did manage to achieve. Communications were always always first class. Tom, Simon and their team are very professional, trust worthy, polite, and extremely helpful. We cannot thank KW Developments enough for turning our dark old garage into a beautiful kitchen. We are more than happy to fully recommend KW Developments and would not look to use any other builders for future works.

Outstanding work. Tom, Simon and their team have just completed an extension for me; the second lot of major building work they have done for me (the first being a complete renovation of a large old house). They were recommended to me a couple of years ago by a decorator who works with them and their work on both projects have just been superb. I have used builders before and with varying degrees of success; both projects however that Tom’s team have completed for me have been completed on time, in budget and with minimal stress. As a single mum it has been so important to me to get builders who are trustworthy and reliable. They have without exception been polite, professional and really tidy, working extremely hard and in all weathers to get the job done on time. The attention to detail and finish on the work is excellent. Any issues have been dealt with immediately and even though it’s nothing to do with them (I have an old boiler!) I can call them any time I have issues with my heating or other things that need to be fixed. Tom and his team at KW Developments were the best builders we have ever used. Their work and attention to detail was excellent. Only using the best materials and never cutting any corners. Very professional team with a "can do" attitude. Work involved refurbishing a flat, including plumbing, heating (new boiler & megaflo tank), flooring, tiling and decoration to bathroom, en-suite, 2 bedrooms, lounge/kitchen.

Tom and Simon are the best in the business. Cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and value for money. Tom has a range of highly skilled tradespeople at his fingertips, and no matter what is required he has the right person to put on site to deal with the work. Both Tom and Simon are happy to get their hands dirty, but also stand back and let dedicated specialists do the jobs for them when needed. You need electrical work, Tom has an excellent electrician,, you need a plumber, a tiler, a painter, a carpenter etc etc. Every single member of the team we had on site was professional, highly skilled, tidy and a pleasure to deal with. From planning, through out the project and after all finished Tom is quick to respond and no issue is too much of an issue. We threw various curveballs during our project and everything was taken in stride and was never too much bother. Any future work we need done, I know who we will call.

Tom, Simon, Phil, Kris, Jason and the whole team at KW Developments were outstanding. They were recommended to me by Kris, who previously did some decorating work for me. I have had various building projects done before and never has it been such a painless process. The attention to detail and quality of work was consistently excellent, they were prompt and hardworking and the entire team was so professional, polite and tidy. KW Developments have just completed a new kitchen/diner extension for us and we could not be happier. Tom and Simon had first worked for us on a bathroom last year and we knew they would be the right people for our extension. Everything was managed so professionally - the job was done on time and exactly to budget. K W Developments were recommended to ourselves by a friend. They have recently completed a rear extension and bathroom for us. I have used KW on a number projects over the years, ranging from installing a new bathroom to more recently a full scale renovation of a 7-bedroom house which included a new central heating system, complete electrical rewire, floor plan reconfiguration including steels, new windows and painting/ decorating. Tom, Simon and team have been consistently brilliant to work with. Always fair and a pleasure to work with. I have never felt like I was getting ripped off which I had felt in the past with others. Building projects are always stressful but having a builder that you can trust makes a big difference which is why I will continue to use them. Their work is also of high quality. I can be very particular about what I want and how it needs to be finished; KW get this and produce great results.

KW team worked with us from the start in our full house renovation project that was done in 3 phases and took around 18 months from start to finish with few months stoppage after each phase. We had to live in the property while the work was being done. During the work I got to know the KW team , I can only say that they were very professional and respectful. After 18 months we now have a lovely home due to the excellent work KW did at the time. The work was finished over a year ago but they still call us to check up and come to fix things in the house if it need to be fixed even with things that was not done by them. They are great company and if I was to do any building work again I will defiantly use them. I have recommended them to so many friends as I know they will not let me down and I know they will do a great job. For so many reasons I can only give them a 5 star recommendation.

Very happy with our 2 story extension which included an en-suite bathroom. The guys were very professional from start to finish. I feel the project was managed to a very high standard and we were kept notified all the way from start to finish. Also it was finished on time The quality of work is very high from the building work, to fittings, to painting and decorating. I would highly recommend.
