Louisa Watson

Lindsay Gibbon was a project manager and builder on the conversion of the garage of our 1960s townhouse. We were extremely glad we hired him (and members of his team of very good carpenters, plumbers and electricians too). He was excellent at explaining to us exactly what he was doing, he never made us feel silly for having a lot of questions, and, on one occasion, even changing our minds about something, the last of which he responded to really well, and we ended up with an even better result. He was always calm and friendly, and we felt as if he and those people who worked for him were on the same team as us. We did stick to the budget which Lindsay set. Lindsay's knowledge was broad, and the quality of the work he undertook for us was very good indeed. I do genuinely recommend him as someone who is easy and friendly to work with, but always very professional too. His enthusiasm for our project (and that of his partner, Claire Hunt, as well), was also really nice! We (I and my husband) felt that he had done a very special job, both with us and for us.
