Love how everything has been planned and utilised to the finest detail, also Kevin’s great ideas on design. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his talented lads, who are committed, and very professional in achieving a first class job. A new dressing room wardrobe was ordered and completed ahead of schedule .Good cooperation all along and top class finish.Kevin was essential for some technical recommendations .His assembly team was great, precise, .polite.,clean and enthousiast. Mr Lomax responded to our initial enquiry quickly and made arrangements to visit. he was always punctual,made imaginative suggestions and was always receptive to our ideas. he drew up clear plans and guided us through them. he was ahead of the original timescale and completed the work several weeks ahead of schedule. His charges were clearly explained. The work was carried out by himself and his team of 2. They all arrived punctually, were hard working and pleasant to have around. They were mindful of being careful, always tidied up each day and very polite. we are more than delighted with the results, everything has been worked to the highest standards and very skillfully. We are really pleased with our kitchen from Lomax Interiors. It was individually designed and built just for us which makes it so special. Kevin took the time to find out what we wanted and suggested additional elements that keyed in perfectly with our Edwardian home, including an amazing ceiling. Kevin and his handpicked and trained team provide an outstanding service from design through to fitting. Kevin is a master craftsman with an eye for detail. He ensures that the finished product is perfect. He has fitted birds eye maple bedroom furniture for us in the past and has just built a fabulous ash and limed oak media wall unit for us. Work is precise, functional and beautiful to look at. The lads arrive when they say they will, work non stop on site and clean up after themselves before they leave each day. I cannot recommend Lomax Interiors more highly. You will not be disappointed.

Kevin has just completed our project to design and build a modern piece of furniture around a wine cabinet to fit into an alcove, matching existing decor. I could not be happier with the result. Our initial ideas morphed into something very creative that fulfilled the initial brief. Kevin patiently explained his reasons for size and structure. He has a good eye for features and proportions. You will be pleasantly surprised by the end result. Cannot speak highly enough of Kevin who kept us advised, completed on time and within budget. What a nice man to deal with!

I have no hesitation in recommending LOMAX INTERIORS for quality bespoke joinery. Kevin Lomax has great people skills and a depth of knowledge and love for his chosen medium that is truly impressive. He and his colleagues (Andy and Ryan) took on a tired Victorian house and breathed new life in to it. Installation included the replacement of aged internal doors, architraves, plinths and skirting boards. The doors have a beautiful traditional look and were handmade in Kevin’s workshop. He also gave sound advice on the locking mechanism and in the choice of door handle. Traditional panelling and picture rails have re-introduced the look and feel of a period home. True craftsmanship, excellent finish, lovely people. I am so grateful to have found them on Houzz.

We first met Kevin Lomax about 7 years ago when we were looking for a new kitchen. From the first instance we were impressed with his professionalism but particularly with his knowledge and clear passion for perfection.He spent many hours working with us to create not only a fantastic design by challenging our thought processes and taking account of our opinions, but incorporating a practical approach such that on installation the kitchen 'worked' and spaces were created down to the last detail of precisely the cupboard space and lay out we desired. In addition the materials used are sublime. All too often 'designer kitchens' fail to provide a truly bespoke space tailored to your every requirement. Such was our confidence in Kevin and the time he had spent with us we did not feel the need to 'shop around'. In essence, you cannot compare prices as in Kevin's case the word bespoke is applied in the true meaning and quality sets his work apart. We had great pleasure in seeing our kitchen come to life in his workshop and felt involved at every stage of the process. The fitting was a pleasure. Kevin's employees are highly trained, incredibly professional and treat your home with the upmost respect and courtesy at all times. The project was delivered ontime and on budget. The room is the hub of our home and is truly beautiful. The workmanship has stood the test of time as every cabinet/drawer/hinge functions as perfectly as the day it was installed. I cook every day and the room works so beautifully. As Lomax Interiors were so impressive, we have used them for many more on going projects in our house. In 2015 we undertook a major remodelling of an ugly 1970's extension. Kevin helped me with the design and layout for the downstairs spaces. He went on to design and make an amazing Black American Walnut and glass staircase. Again truly bespoke and unique. It immediately showcases quality and design (whilst adhering to regulations). This is complemented by walnut door casings, skirting boards/plinth blocks (made to my own design/profile) and white internal doors. Traditional wood has been used perfectly to create a contemporary finish. Additional works have included solid oak flooring and a very large feature walnut door between the living room and dining room. Kevin's skills have enabled us to commission him to create many outstanding features as he is not 'a kitchen designer' but a craftsman, perfectionist and expert cabinet maker. It has been and will continue to be a fantastic working relationship as ideas for our home become reality. Kevin is as enthusiastic now as he was when we first met him. Our project has been on going for 11 years and Lomax Interiors are by far the best company we have worked with. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Kevin met the brief perfectly with our home bar and kept us updated with pictures during the building process. His colleagues who fitted the bar and shelves were also extremely professional and hard-working.

We first experienced Kevin Lomax and his team back in 2003 when we asked Kevin to design, build and fit bespoke wardrobes in our master bedroom. We were impressed from start to finish with the professionalism, planning and quality finish of the work Kevin provided. So much so that in 2008 when we decided to replace our kitchen, our first call was to Lomax Interiors and once again Kevin did not disappoint. He listened to our ideas of how we wanted our kitchen to look and came back with a design that met our needs perfectly. We were so impressed with Kevin that we went off on holiday leaving him with the keys to our house so he and his team could complete the work while we were away. We came back to another first class bespoke finish which was far and beyond what we hoped for. Then earlier this year our next project was a replacement bannister for our hall, stairs and landing and Kevin was our first and only point of call. Kevin came round and after listening to our ideas came up with a design that fitted in perfectly with our home. Talking and agreeing a design with Kevin is a stress free process with a laugh along the way. Kevin and his teams professionalism in both the preparation and the fitting of the new bespoke staircase can’t be understated. The job is first class, a real feature and talking point when people visit and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Lomax Interiors worked to my detail drawings to create a bespoke credenza for my dining room at home. Further detail design is a two way discussion between client and manufacturer, and Kevin Lomax brings much knowledge and experience to the discussion. A 4.5 metre long fitted "sideboard" in my dining room now presents a very pleasing outcome.

I thought I would leave the following comments as it is rare to find a craftsman who delivers what you asked for and more. We asked for a bespoke bedroom that incorporated those little extras that make it a joy. For example draws with appropriate sections for belts and cuff links. Far to often people push the easy option but Lomax Interiors we’re willing to accommodate the difficult such as curving the doors inwards. My experience has been one of complete customer care.

kevin lomax & his team has delivered a finished project for me that can only be described as outstanding! attention to detail & finishes are beyond expectation & all the way from initial consultation to final fitting (hand built by kevin & his team), I have felt involved from every stage of the process, a true bespoke experience, kevin takes your ideas & moulds them & refines them & enhances them with oversight & hindsight from his experience to deliver a package that must equal & indeed surpass the highest level of craft in kitchen manufacture & workmanship out there. Kevin and his colleagues are very skilled, helpful and patient. They provide you with good ideas from the start or refinements on your own outline ideas. The execution of the works and particularly the finish is excellent. The aftercare service is also excellent if any minor adjustments are required. When we found Lomax Interiors and Kevin and his team we knew we didn't need to look any further for the people we wanted to create our new kitchen. Kevin is an absolute gentleman, showed great respect for our ideas and helped us to achieve the amazing end result in our beautiful kitchen. With Kevin's knowledge and experience he guided us throughout the planning, costing and budgeting and advising in areas where we had little or no experience (but BIG ideas!) When we hit two major snags which were nothing to do with the kitchen itself Kevin was an absolute gem!!! He liaised with the electrician, the plumber and "our man Friday" to ensure the problems were worked out as a team resulting in the minimum of disruption and speedy remedies all round. There was never an attitude of "it's got nothing to do with me, I'm only doing the kitchen". It was always "what can I do to help". Would highly recommend Lomax Interiors!!!

Kevin was recommended to me by a friend, I went to see some of his work at a friends house and was impressed by the quality of the materials that Kevin used and the individuality and style of the pieces I saw. I contacted Kevin and had a meeting set up soon after initial contact to discuss the staircase that we were looking for. Kevin was very helpful in advising us of certain parts of the design and felt reassured that the final finished product would be completed as discussed. In actual fact, the end result was more that we could have wished for, there were elements of the staircase that hadn't crossed my mind, but were part of the design that finished the look perfectly. Kevin also designed an extensive under stair shoe storage, which when not in use, looks like cream panelling. Again, there were parts of the finished design that I hadn't thought about, but made the piece look fantastic. Kevin also incorporated an LED lighting system on one side of the inside of the stairs, which gives off a soft light and looks amazing. Kevin is delightful to deal with and is a very talented craftsman. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends.
