Paddy Brown are far removed from the stereotypical builder. They approached the project in an intelligent and considerate manner. This was particularly important as we occupied the house whilst works were ongoing. They respected the design intent and when issues arose and adaptations or fresh decisions were required they collaborated to achieve the spirit of the design. David and Kaush demonstrate a real attention to detail and a hands-on approach. Always open, responsive and consistent on maintaining best endeavours. I’ve dealt with many major building contractors at a professional level over the last thirty years. A home project is particularly sensitive and Paddy Brown treated it with due respect and care.

This is now my 4th investment project with Kaush and David @ Paddy Brown. Their knowledge of the property market and how they go about tackling that industry with style and integrity is what has me coming back the 4th time. I am a hands off investor so they take me on a site tour of shortlisted properties providing me with a detailed scope and ROI on each, followed by which they suggest. Every project has beat the top end values in the area and I can put that down to the thorough skills in sourcing the right property negotiating at the right price and then just the magic they put into each place. It makes me want to move in to them myself! Our current project is demolishing a warehouse to convert into 4 apartments. They sourced, arranged all the planning for change of use, designed, and are due to break ground in Q1 2021. You will not get a better team who are as honest, knowledgeable, personable, and lets not forget are building me a successful portfolio. I was fortunate to come across Paddy Brown on a recent project where the architect had appointment Paddy Brown as the main contractor. I was really impressed with them. It is very rare to find a contractor that understands design, and what I really appreciated was that they ran through my design and suggested some alterations so that my designs were more practical for the client. There was a real synergy and a real fun bunch to work with. Whenever I get the opportunity I will be using Paddy Brown as a contractor and also in my own business to consult on designs I submit. We are infact also working on some furniture pieces to be marketed as a joint venture. Exciting times with a company that is as passionate about this industry as I am.

David and Kaush are true professionals, they did a fantastic job on a new kitchen and bathroom for us requiring a lot of imagination, moving walls and all sorts! Kaush has got a keen eye for interior design and David’s finish is second to none. They planed and sourced everything from scratch and knew exactly what we were after! They were very patient and kept to budget..despite a rather demanding and difficult client ;) Simply transformational..a big thanks and will definitely use again on the next project (if they’ll have us again)! Our cat Rocky still misses them!

We used Paddy Brown on a project last year and completed just in time for us to appreciate our new home during the lockdown in March. Very impressed with the full service we received and we really couldnt ask for anything better. A very friendly, professional and diligent team. To have the ability to hand over the entirety of the project to them without needing to get involved was a dream!

I purchased my new home in 2018 and whilst it is a really good space it just did not have the level of detail I wished for. My very close friend had used Paddy Brown some years ago for a home renovation and I really liked what they had done for her. They came in with an open mind and really took time to understand what I liked and disliked about my home. I had a very awkward kitchen and they suggested I relocate this to the rear of the property and remove a load bearing wall to open up the whole kitchen/dining area. The ground floor is totally opened up yet the detail they put in still maintains the beautiful character of the property. Their joinery team created an absolutely stunning bespoke kitchen and island. What I really also like is all the tall wall units are in a completely different material to the kitchen and hidden within them are my appliances and pantry. The kitchen now opens into the garden through bifold doors onto composite decking so its maintenance free and it is a very close match to the kitchen floor so with the doors open it really looks like the kitchen is extended out through to the garden. They landscaped the garden including outdoor lighting which highlights our planting and trees. Paddy Brown understand design and they deliver what they promise. When I read the other reviews it really does show these guys go above and beyond and as with others I highly recommend them.

Very impressed with the full service we received from Paddy Brown. We really couldn’t have asked for better. Very professional team and very knowledgeable. We were planning to do this project in 2 stages so that we could release some equity from our property before moving to phase 2. David and Kaush suprised me with their knowledge of remortgaging to release funds and advised we alter our project programme so that it would be easier to release funds based on what the finance company would look for. This on top of their design led approach meant the uncertainty I had on how I would finance and complete the project was all in hand. We have no hesitation in recommending them on and a sure sign of what they have achieved is that we have met them several times socially!!

We started a major refurbishment with Paddy Brown while I was pregnant with my first child (13 month project). They were very patient despite my (now in hindsight) sometimes odd requests. I think any other construction company would have been frustrated with me but they made the whole process seamless and stress free. The entire team were very professional and polite but what me and my husband really found useful was that we had a single point of contact throughout the build. All queries were handled quickly and professionally. The weekly reporting was very thorough and I felt that I knew where we were in the timeline/budget throughout the entire process. What we really loved was that it felt like they treated our project as if it was their own home. They were giving advice on small details and finishing touches that I absolutely adore now. They had no reason to do that other than really caring for what they were producing.

I’m now onto my third project with Paddy Brown over a 5 year period. I’m a retired architect so to say I am fussy is probably an understatement! They have a thorough appreciation of design and an attention to detail that is very hard to find in a building contractor. I was introduced to PB from my practice on a project we worked on together and now in retirement I took them on for my personal investment properties.

I've engaged Paddy Brown for both minor and major works and have been hugely impressed with them. Kaush, David and their team are a pleasure to deal with, have fabulous attention to detail and always come up with innovative solutions to any problems arising during the works. A project that is left clean and tidy every night is always a good sign... I have now recommended them to numerous friends and contact and will, without doubt, use them for future works and projects.

This is the second time now that we have worked with David & Kaush and I have been really impressed both times. They are both super friendly, professional, easy to get on with and most importantly they deliver high quality work. Their design aesthetic stands out from the rest.
