“Living through a kitchen extension on a terraced London house isn't fun. We both work full-time and have two children at school so returning at the end of each day to the property once works had commenced could be a little stressful; but PlusRooms protected our downstairs areas, created a temporary kitchen for us and were really considerate of the fact we were living through the works. They project managed the whole thing right from design, costing, adjustments, planning, build scheduling, (prompting us what to buy and when), right through the build - and we couldn't be more delighted with our new space. Living through building works is unpleasant but was made less so with Robbie and James' support and professionalism. We had the odd snagging that needed resolving at the end of the job, which you would always expect, so we are more than happy to recommend PlusRooms and may be using them again next year!”

“Model Projects were a delight, from the initial brief with James who immediately took my requirements and turned them into a fantastic design - spot on first time with no amendments necessary. Kathryn then took over on a day to day basis as project manager and I cannot praise her highly enough. Dealing with the local authority, building control, structural engineers and the many contractors was done with calm and determination and I now have my dream space.”

“To set the scene : we are mid-way through construction, to renovate & extend of our Victorian terrace in East London. We've had Seán and Stephen Ltd as our architects for 18 months so far. My wife and I are complete novices to design & construction, and Seán and Stephen have expertly and supportively guided us through each stage, enabling us to really enjoy every part of creating our new home. I would happily recommend this professional practice to family and friends. They were great at helping to bring some of our own design preferences to life using plans, 3D models, and interactive virtual room design tools. But they also have challenged our thinking too, leading us to add in a number of amazing and creative features that we would never otherwise have considered. Seán and Stephen created an extremely thorough and professional Design & Access Statement to help explain our project to the local planners. As a direct result of the quality of S&S’s planning pack our application (which proposed various potentially contentious items such as a basement, lightwell, and dormer) was approved without a single significant amendment. Since the contractor began the works Seán and Stephen have project managed every aspect of the construction programme, providing us with detailed weekly updates and explaining everything to us in layman’s terms. They consistently fight our corner with the contractor on a number of technical and cost-related issues which gives us real confidence that the project is in safe hands. So far we have enjoyed a stress-free project thanks to their project management skills”

“Extremely pleased with the service we received from James at New World Designers Ltd. He couldn't have been more helpful, visiting us on numerous occasions to discuss what we wanted, offering ideas and suggestions and saying what was or wasn't possible. He also kept in regular contact throughout the whole process to keep us informed of what was happening. We will definitely be using them again and can't recommend them highly enough.”

“Trevor Brown was a pleasure to work with. We started with a humble idea of replacing a structurally unsound kitchen with something a bit nicer, and he transformed the project into a fabulous piece of architecture. Trevor is knowledgeable, and has an ambitious attitude to even simple projects. By paying attention to both the structure and the details of the kitchen, Trevor created a space which is a beautiful space and also very functional. Trevor is a busy man, but he replied to emails, and answered the phone when we had queries. He worked well with the construction team and they were able to take a pragmatic approach to solving problems along the way. We exceeded the original budget, but that was at least in part because we chose more expensive options when Trevor offered us choices.”

“Karim did a great job in providing the structural plans and calculations for our project and took the time out to explain and go through them clearly with me to ensure that we understood what they were saying - which was hugely valuable as it's very difficult to decipher structural plans for a layman. In addition he made sure that he was on hand to provide any updates as and when and went out of his way to ensure that we could contact him at any time directly. Thank you Karim!”

“We had great service from Arlington... Brilliant design, great ideas and knowledge, first class fitting, lots of on-site presence from their management and design team, and they worked alongside our architect and builder brilliantly. They delivered exactly what they said they would, on time and within budget. Perhaps most impressive was (is) their after-care. We had heard about this from people who recommended them to us and it is every bit as good as we were told. They are a company who seem to genuinely care about getting to know their customers, designing and fitting great kitchens, and making sure they are available for as long as needed afterwards.”
