Slick Construction

I used Slick Construction to build a loft conversion and en-suite, insulated rendering on side of the house and various other internal works, and I’m so pleased I did. Niko and his team were excellent. They were very professional, reliable, polite, tidy and extremely patient and their workmanship is fantastic. Niko regularly kept me updated on how the work was progressing and was always happy to answer any questions I had. I am absolutely thrilled with the work and have no hesitation in giving a 5 star review and would definitely recommend Niko and his team.

Nico and his team helped us deliver our dream extension project. There are so many things to highlight that it will take too long to list them all, so I will try to summarise what I think you should know about why you should hire Slick Construction: 1/ they started the work on the scheduled day and finished on time AND on budget 2/ they listen to all our questions, provided many suggestions (helped us with wood floor, roof windows, doors selection) and were constantly available (they were onsite 6 days a week throughout most of the project, without being intrusive) 3/ the quality of the build and decorating are fantastic - we are very pleased with the finish product. If there was a small touch/repair to add/change, they'll do it without being asked twice. 4/ they kept everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. All workers (bricklayers, masonry, electrician, plumber, etc...) did a great job, were very polite and friendly. You may also like to know that amongst all building companies we interviewed, we chose Nico's because : they are registered with Federation of Master Builders (independent quality certification), his company is registered with Companies House for a long time (no constant change in directorship), we visited a couple of properties to check his workmanship (if you would like to check our extension, we'll be happy to do so). Finally the quote we had was fair, detailed and competitive, with a good payment schedule. We had a very good feeling when we first met with Nico and hiring him was the best decision.

The wonderful Nico and his team have completed 2 projects for us over the last 6 months. - re-rendered and insulated the front of our house - replaced beams and reinstated a chimney in our lounge. The team are incredibly polite, patient, and tidy and their workmanship and finish is fantastic, and we really couldn't be happier. Nico communicates with you all the time and makes sure that everything is as expected and also nothing is any trouble. They did not leave our house until the job was complete. Happy to give a glowing reference and recommend him highly.
