Mike and the team built us a two storey extension. They were great! The build quality was superb, they were quick, tidy and communicated with us throughout the construction. Can’t recommend highly enough!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - This builder is absolutely awful. He was contracted to remove two chimney breasts and build a new kitchen which involved removing a wall to expand the existing space. Michael comes across really well and his website looks very presentable. We hired him thinking he is a professional builder with good experience. Little did we know....He hired cheap labourers to do the work whilst very rarely visiting the site. He used our money to fund another building project. The work completed was substandard. They removed the chimney breasts in our house without sealing up the rooms. All our belongings which were stored in the house were covered with layers of dust. He ended up leaving the job uncompleted. He charged us for the building reg sign off which he never received. He put in gallows brackets, the use of which has been vetoed by most local authorities. As a result, we are now paying a "real professional" builder and an instructional engineer to get the calculations and work competed to standards which will help us to get building regulation approval. @ Michael, if you are reading this. 'We are shocked with the way you treated us. You have been unresponsive and left us without a building regulation sign off. You promise the world and you don't deliver. You take your client's hard-earned money and leave them behind with uncompleted and substandard work which doesn't even meet building regulations standards. Worst of all, your total lack of communication. There is nothing more frustrating. You completely blanked us.

Toro Renovations started off well but then proved to be a disappointment. The on-site team overran on time and ended up leaving the job unfinished — in order to start another job. This meant that several items were rushed or just not properly addressed. We are still waiting for the front door slab to be purchased and fitted, even though we have already paid for this work to be done — not good enough.

I used Toro for a complete refurb of a house I bought. Michael sat down with me and we discussed how best to maximise the space but make it look modern. Michael has a lot of knowledge around renovations so I took his advice and the house looks amazing on completion. Throughout the project Michael would update as and when required. I’m really pleased with the work and look forward to using him for my next project in the near future.
