“We are very happy with the new en-suite, remodelled downstairs WC and utility room, and single-storey extension that KW built for us. We chose KW Developments based on a recommendation from another parent at my child's school. We discussed the architect's plans with Tom, and he was helpful letting us know what was feasible and advising on the finer details. We were given a detailed quote that was competitive with other quotes that we had received, and decided to proceed. The work on the en-suite was started first and happened pretty quickly with Simon building a new wall and spacing out all the bathroom fittings to our liking. After the en-suite was completed, Tom assembled a team of people to strip out the old kitchen and demolish the smaller existing extension. This showed that the existing beams were either inadequate or missing entirely. Tom, Mike and his team worked closely with our architect and structural engineer to come up with a solution, and provided us with a quote to correct this before then proceeding with building the new extension at an impressive pace. KW and their contractors also fitted the kitchen, installed underfloor heating, installed the flooring, plumbing, electrics, and decorated, as well as making good any areas affected by installing the up-to-spec steel beams. Tom also recommended a fantastic worktop company that had a wider range of options than the usual high street kitchen shops. KW respected the rest of our property whilst carrying out the work, relaid the area of patio outside the new extension, and cleaned up the driveway once they were done. The approachable, friendly team were accommodating and helpful with any queries that we had, and similarly they asked us any questions about the smaller details involved in the project along the way. We are delighted with the result. We now have a fantastic bigger shiny new kitchen and living space that is bright, spacious and most importantly the design that we had hoped for. Cheers!”
