I can always count on their prices to be competitive, and usually don't even 'shop them' anymore. Don't be fooled by the Big Box stores who charge DOUBLE what Homewood does for crown moulding and baseboard. As for pressure treated wood, the Big Box stores sell you Pressure Treat wood that has more stain than decay resistant chemicals. Pressure treated from Homewood, like all REAL lumber yards is also Douglas Fir, not the Hem-Fir junk that the Big Box stores fool you with. Having a door shop that can produce replacement doors, as well as custom doors makes life easy on my business. Mostly, it is the people at Homewood that make the difference though.
