“I hired Jim Beckwith on three separate occasions in 2015, and his work has been excellent. I plan on hiring him again as I complete the renovations of my condominium. Jim installed ceiling lights, ran new lighting into my rebuilt closets, installed electric baseboard heaters, checked my whole electrical system, and reinstalled my entire entire electric panel box to bring it up to current code. The panel formerly looked like a crow's nest. After Jim rebuilt it with a top quality Eaton steel box, it looks like a work of art--everything organized and labeled. You just visit his website and add to the calendar the date and time you want him to do the work. He sends a confirmation email. He also sends text messages when he is on his way. He always arrives on time. This is what really amazed me after trying to work with other contractors who show up late or not at all and do not understand the meaning of communication. Jim is very personable and uses quality parts. Other "handymen" you tend to find online have a habit of using inferior quality products to shave costs. I prefer to pay a few bucks more and sleep well at night by buying quality parts and quality work, especially when comes to something as important as my home electrical system. Jim gets five stars from me on every count.”
