“We have just completed our new build project and Michelle has been been invaluable since the planning stage. When you have a project with seemingly endless choices it is a God send to have a professional to steer you through. Michelle takes the time to clearly understand your style preference and then helps and inspires you to achieve a look which is still you , but somehow better ! I found her to be able to think outside the box and has come up with solutions which have greatly improved the interior of our new home . Professional , knowledgeable , patient with a killer eye for detail and design , I would recommend her to anyone .”

“We engaged van Ellen & Sheryn in 2013 to assist with the design of and planning for a new build house in Totnes, Devon which my family and I now very happily live in. We worked mostly with Eilir Sheryn who showed enthusiasm, skill and experience in helping us navigate our way through the project. In particular he was willing and able to follow our brief in respect of design and budget which, in our experience, not every architect will do. All of the staff at the firm are personable and professional and we would not hesitate to recommend them ( we have on two occasions ) and we are in fact currently discussing a new project with Eilir. Upon completion our house was featured in Homebuilding & Renovating magazine and will also appear the TV series " Building the Dream " sometime in 2016..........testament to a job well done. “We instructed Woodford Architecture to assist us in prolonged negotiations with a local developer who had obtained detailed planning consent to convert an office building in the historic centre of Exeter into three floors of appartments with two added penthouses on a new contemporary steel and glass fourth floor. After weeks of discussion we managed to convince the developer to sell us the entire new floor as one large new appartment fitted out entirely to our specification. This entailed some re design of the new structure on a project which was about to start The deal was entirely dependant on Woodford Architecture producing detailed design plans and specifications to very tight deadlines indeed, in the face of a somewhat sceptical contractor. There is no doubt whatsoever that had not Gavin Woodford and his staff worked seven days a week for several weeks we would not have been able to meet our contractual commitments. They are to be congratulated on a remarkable job well done.”

“We were lucky to found Ali, one of the architect, to help us to transform a very small old cottage into a very nice light cottage. Ali had the vision to utilise every spaces , change the rooms location, opening new windows and make the staircase a beautiful fixture. He had transformed our property . I will highly recommend Ali. The service is 5 stars, the prices are very reasonable, well everything is perfect! See by yourself. The photos are only taken by my phone.”

“I enrolled Julie-Ann at In Ex Design to create a family home as well as a show home for my High End Audio Visual Business. The house was originally a Bed & Breakfast and was in need of a total refurbishment along with a large extension to move the living area to the back of the house. It wasn't just the architectural elements but the whole design solution including the garden and interior designs. Julie-Ann and the team were great to work with, and the end product has ended up taking front cover of the Exeter Living Magazine. The amazing space they created incorporated my discreet audio visual solutions in every room, even in the original Victorian part of the house. She left no stone unturned through out the development, picking up on even the smallest detail, which in turn has created the final product which I'm proud not only to call my home, but also to bring potential clients to, to showcase my business.....and every response is the same.....WOW! Thanks In Ex Design!”

“BARC did an excellent job of interpreting my ideas and thoughts along with their own ideas to produce a plan incorporating the right look and amount of space for a pair of semi-detached houses despite a long struggle with the planning department and many compromises.”

“I have worked with Andrew for a number of years now; firstly working for a major housebuilder and latterly my own development company building smaller, bespoke schemes. In either circumstance, Andrew is able to hone is years of experience to create a large scale scheme that maximises square footage and maximum revenue for the developer or create something with individuality, but in keeping with the vernacular of the area. His attention to detail is second to none and his town planning qualifications allow him to work closely alongside the Local Authority ensuring the best scheme for his client. I hope to carry on working alongside Andrew for many years to come and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any form of residential development.”

“We took on the lease of a very small premise in Bath city centre. We knew we had to make the most of every single inch if it was going to work, thankfully we got Sara's help and we just cannot be happier with what she has done with the place. Sara delivered a beautiful, cool, modern, inviting and practical space with the WOW factor. (Just what we wanted!) We constantly have people commenting on how wonderful and cosy our shop looks! Sara was ever so professional, thorough and helpful along the way and she made the whole process so much easier for us and the shop fitters. Thanks to Sara's attention to detail from day one, we managed to finish the project on time (only two weeks from start to finish) and within budget! We couldn't be happier with our beautiful little shop. We are so grateful to Sara for all her input and hard work on our project and for delivering what we believe is the trendiest, cosiest coffee shop in town. We highly recommend Sara and her incredible expertise and dedication. Just amazing! From a very happy couple and coffee shop owners, JP and Veronica”

“Our restoration project evolved into a very special experience for all the team involved. Kirsty Curnow Bailey was recommended to us by a local buildings surveyor and we arranged an initial 2 hour meeting. The 'cost' to us was a donation to Kirsty's favourite charity. We gelled almost immediately and the journey began. We were involved at every part of the design stage and our ideas were blended with Kirsty's practicality and imagination. She lead the negotiations with the National Park planners and the conservation officer with great professionalism. She introduced us to two building companies and we were pleased to award the job to RM Builders in Tavistock. I year later the works began. The restoration took 16 months and involved a complete reroofing , new external lime render, major lath and plaster internal restoration and a full replumb and rewire. Kirsty was ever-present and chaired site meetings every 2 weeks. The budget was observed closely and contingency added at 2 different stages. Underground drainage works were a major additional cost and could not have been fully predicted at the outset. The build quality was exactly as requested and Kirsty was adamant that the planned standards were fully met. Discoveries on the way included a 1500 carved granite fireplace in the main room, finding a 3rd staircase inside a 5 foot rubble wall and opening up the blocked cross passage in the centre of the house. The oldest timbers exposed during the works date back to the 1300's! Kirsty was pivotal in returning our home to its current condition, blending very old with contemporary and very modern. We are delighted with the result and we would recommend Living Space Architects to any prospective clients. Everything now works 100%, the building breathes again and will be on track for the next 100yrs for sure. Thanks Kirsty Geoff and Sue”
