“We live in an apartment and are unable to have an open fire, which is something I have always wanted. So, when I discovered biofires, I was really excited - I could have real flames warming the flat and creating a cosy atmosphere! The fire is gorgeous and much admired by anyone who visits. It heats up our large kitchen despite the fact we have 12ft-high ceilings and it creates a lovely focal point. I would recommend getting the logs and the ember things, as that finishes it off beautifully and the embers make a lovely glow. The company were really good and very quick to send a replacement piece of glass when one panel was broken in transit. The lady I dealt with was really pleasant and helpful. All in all, a very good experience and a great product.”

“We had a Metro 100XT/3 with a Limestone Shelf installed in our home in late 2016. We absolutely adore the fire and are forever complimented on how beautiful it is by visitors. It has added so much to our living room – from the sleek design to the realistic fire logs… it really is everything we could have asked for. Not only do we love the fire but I just want to highlight how incredible the staff at platonic are. The customer service we received was of the highest standard – it is always nice to deal with a company that care so much about their work. From the first site visit all the way through to the installation, the process was flawless and everyone we dealt with was helpful and a pleasure. We can’t thank you enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!”

“Very pleased with the marble fire surround. Nice plain design which goes well in my small Victorian terrace front room. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and his recommended fitter was also excellent. The ordering, measuring and the fitting went very smoothly.”

From organising the chimney sweep through to having the fireplace installed we had everything arranged and installed in a matter of weeks. The fitters were extremely professional and took great pride in making sure the fireplace was installed properly. “Brilliant service, professional throughout. We are over the moon with our Gazco fire it really does add a fabulous feature to our newly extended living room. Installation was seamless and ordering over the phone was great even when our item was out of stock everything was done to make sure we were happy. I can't recommend Kelvin Fireplaces enough if your thinking of ordering a fire don't hesitate to talk to Martin or Debbie!”

“As part of a major domestic internal building project, we visited several fireplace/ burner galleries. Hertfordshire Fireplace Gallery had a good range of display models and there was no pushy sales attempt. Having explained what we envisaged, the staff provided guidance as to where we would find those burners within the store. Staff were knowledgeable about their products, helpful and able to answer all questions. Unlike some places we had visited, they offered a free site visit to accurately price the supply and installation, after which we ordered our chosen fireplace. During the building works, we decided to make the newly discovered fireplace more of a feature and changed the burner we had ordered. Changing this was done without any fuss. Installation was straight-forward and the company were flexible when installation dates had to be altered. Looking back at my paperwork, we first visited the store in July 2018 and had a site visit shortly after, but actually placed the order in June 2019 before installation in October 2019. (This was no fault of the store, but simply issues around the building work.) Through-out the process, there was excellent communication from Neil and his staff. In conclusion, we are delighted with the final product and the involvement of the Gallery has been a major factor in this. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them and (if my wife gets her way on another fireplace), will be certainly using them again.”
