Ben King Furniture

I received a beautiful set of shelves by Ben King as a gift, commissioned by my mother for my birthday. The craftsmanship is of the highest level - his pieces are made to last, plus you can be sure that sustainability is at the forefront of Ben's choice in wood. He even came to fit the shelves, I would thoroughly recommended working with Ben - you will receive a piece of furniture to treasure.

I have bought several items from Ben King. Each item has been made to order and I am very happy with the results. The first item (two years ago) was a round kitchen table and it still looks as good as new. It seats 8 - 10 people and is elegant - but robust enough for the full impact of family life. Since then I have commissioned a linen cupboard, a chest of drawers and (most recently - in September 2014) a wardrobe and a small table. Each piece is designed by Ben King, and created from different native English woods. Ben King creates the furniture in his own workshop and personally delivers and installs them in your house. He is gentle and courteous - and patient whilst the design details are finalised. He listens carefully, but contributes his own design ideas. The pieces are beautiful, and I hope that they will be used by my grandchildren and their children in the years to come. I will always think of Ben King now if I need a new piece of furniture.
