I took in a sofa to be uphostered. But I am not even sure the sofa I got back was the same one. What was done was gross and aesthetically unsympathetic. Poor quality and dishonest

It is unfortunate your experience with our company wasn't as great as we would have hoped. I personally remember the sofa, sadly it wasn't a real knole piece as you had first thought. It came from an auction house in complete disrepair and we built it up with the framework we had to work with. If ever you would require a new bespoke item of furniture made, we would be happy to discuss a discount to help smooth things over.

I had a bit of a crisis with a project due to another upholsterer pulling out at the last minute. The team at Chelsea Upholstery saved the situation - they took the project on, were extremely pleasant to work with through the whole process and delivered on the day they promised to deliver. The quality of their work is excellent, the staff is very helpful and professional and I look forward to working with them again.

We worked with Chelsea Upholstery & Interiors on two projects recently. They were quick to respond and quote, their pricing was reasonable and they delivered everything in the required timeframe, which was extremely tight. Plus the quality of their product was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to use Chelsea Upholstery & Interiors again for other projects.

Our experience with Chelsea Upholstery on the two occasions we have used them was excellent. From the first conversations to the final delivery, everyone was helpful, professional and always quick to respond. Choosing fabrics was uncomplicated, and every request answered promptly and in depth, even if they were explaining why something could not be done. The final products, on the first occasion a chair and the second a sofa with chaise longue, were excellent, particularly with the sofa which needed almost completely rebuilding, and was of a better standard when they had finished with it than when we bought it. Their pricing was competitive and the work was completed in the time frame given. Even the gentlemen who collected and delivered the pieces took great pride in their work, making sure we were completely happy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Beautiful work, exactly to spec, helpful, friendly, creative. I wish I had more sofas for them to make. Flexible on problem solving - found difficult fabric from small weaver. Very nice team.
