About Us

Find & Make is a small UK based home textiles business, specialising in (the very pleasurable pursuit of) finding the good in other peoples disgarded fabrics and (equally pleasureable) making wonderful new things out of them. A life-long love of rummaging in vintage shops, antiques fairs, charity shops and jumble sales, along with a decision to step away from a 12 year career in womenswear design, led finder & maker, Angelique Stephenson, to her sewing machine (via the local vintage store), where she has been since January 2015. The aim of Find & Make is to create pieces that are continually fresh, exciting and unexpected. Using techniques such as quilting and applique, together with inspiration drawn from around the world and across all creative disciplines, each handmade design is unique and considered, using colour palettes that will make a statement in any setting.

Services Provided

Eye catching & unique soft furnishings handmade from salvaged fabrics. Due to the way fabrics are sourced, quantities are small so commissions are aways welcome.

I am one half of a busy photography and production company and we recently bought the Ghana print cushions from Find & Make for an interiors lifestyle shoot and they are incredible and really helped our images to 'pop', they are beautifully and impeccably made and as such everyone on the shoot wanted to take them home ! however they came home with me and I am now the very proud owner of two Ghana cushions that I absolutely love. Well done Find & make your products are awesome and we will definitely come to you in the future for more interior props for photo shoots. I commissioned Find and Make to make a cushion for my partner as a present. I chose the Bright Day design. He loved it, and I'm really pleased with it too. We have it on our sofa in the living room, and people often comment on how much they like it. The design is eye catching, yet subtle; it can look abstract at first, until you look closely. The colours and tones used in the design are lovely. The cushion itself is good quality; has some give, but holds its shape. Angelique at Find and Make was friendly yet professional to deal with, and completed the product for me within the given time scale. I would recommend using this company if you want to buy a unique present for someone, or if you're looking for something tasteful but unusual for your home.

Clean contemporary design which is beautifully made by hand in the UK... Angelique has captured a exquisite mix of vibrate colours and prints with textures to create these beautifully made cushions... Thank you I will be getting more in the near future

I was given these by my girlfriends who had them commissioned . They are so me , beautiful fabrics and the most intricate stitching . I Love pink in my living room so they fit perfectly . They feel really special and unique and shall surely treasure them as they were made for me .
