About Us

Hello, I'm Helen - a proud Associate Member of the House of Upcycling, the representative body that champions all professional creative reuse artisans in the UK. As part of this 21st century arts & crafts movement, I create unique pieces that will enrich your home for decades to come. I sympathetically restore and refinish 20th century 'honeys' to create pieces with colourful warmth and understated elegance. Another huge passion of mine is gilding, but using real liquid metal - a fiendishly difficult and costly process that yields a luxurious and highly unusual finish. You are most welcome to contact me with any questions, or visit me in my small garden studio near Brighton for a no-pressure chat and a cuppa.
