INFURN

Ordered 2 lamps early October 2013. The website clearly stated delivery in 8-12 weeks. Upon not receiving the items by December; I called the NY rep to give the company an address change. I was advised the items would not be available for shipping until the week of February 07, 2014. Meanwhile, Infurn had charged my AMEX for the total cost of the items in early October. I decided to wait for the lamps. The week of February 07, I checked my online Infurn account and saw that the lamps were further delayed (with no contact or advice on their part). I called and was told late March....that 'my lamps had missed the container'. Furthermore, the agent did not have the correct shipping address so the lamps would have gone to my old address. I requested order cancellation and a refund to my AMEX. I was told that they no longer used THAT merchant service and that they would have to 'mail me a check' in 14 business days and that they COULD take as long as 30 days to mail the check. I filed two requests online for further discussion and received the standard email response that they would respond to the issue 'shortly'. That was one week ago and no responses in spite of the fact that I have repeatedly requested contact. I fear that this might be the type of site that charges before shipping on items that do not exist and then uses your money for months and months. I have yet to hear from them nor receive any type of refund. Beware of dealings with this online company. They are not acting in a professional, business-like manner bordering on fraud. 5 months, no merchandise, sloppy record keeping and no refund.
