Nicholas had designed, installed and decorated fitted wardrobes in my bedroom in April 2015. I had several proposals from well known specialist companies but his was the most original solution and yet not the most expensive one. I love my Antique Chinese Fishermen Village view which opens into floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe. I was very impressed with Nicholas's sense of colour, composition and space and his original ideas for lighting and Regency antique door handles which were great finishing touches.I would highly recommend Nicholas if you are working on a renovation project and thinking about incorporating high quality antiques into your modern living space.

I recently purchased a commode which I saw on the website of Nicholas Wells antiques which is http://www.nicholaswells.com/ The photography of the commode was excellent and was a true likeness of the piece which Nicholas brought to our house the day following my contact with him and which I purchased. Nicholas kindly helped us position the commode in its new home. From my first sighting of the commode to completion of the transaction I complement Nicholas in providing a highly professional, efficient and friendly service.

I really enjoyed working with Nick when I recently acquired two pieces from his collection. His photography is excellent and the website was very easy to navigate and full of interesting items. Whilst looking through his website, I found a wonderful George III secretaire bookcase which he took me to see at Cross Hall Manor and a very chic pair of Louis XVI mahogany drum cabinets with marble tops which he kindly agreed to bring over and try in my house. Once in place, I agreed that they were perfect. Nick recommended a very good restorer to make some alterations and helped over see the work. I am looking forward to receiving the pieces in my London house and I know they will look wonderful when delivered. I have purchased from many other London art and antique dealers and the service Nick has provided is five star. A charming and knowledgeable gentleman with a very good collection and a great eye. I would recommend Nick Wells to anyone looking for high quality antique furniture and objects.

I am an interior designer in Portland, Oregon, USA, and I had been looking for the perfect chest for a client's entry for several years. After seeing a charming 18th century French commode at Nicholas Wells Antiques from a newsletter he emailed me, I emailed a photo of the chest to my clients. The clients LOVED it, but were a bit hesitant to order an antique from England. Nicholas Wells made the cartoning and shipping absolutely painless for my clients, and the beautiful commode is now happily ensconced in their entry. I can't say enough good things about how easy it was to work with Nicholas, and how beautiful the chest looks in their home. They are thrilled, and so am I.
