Young & Norgate

Having received assistance from Young and Norgate on a commission we were working on, I can very highly recommend their services. Their design, attention to detail, expert craftsmanship and communication are excellent, and their service was friendly and prompt. Seeing first hand the work being made in their superb workshop, from large spiral staircases to beautifully finished freestanding furniture, they deliver work of the highest quality.

Young and Norgate made a bespoke 90cm round table for my client based on one of their own designs. They were extremely helpful and responsive during the design detail process and myself (designer) and my client are very pleased with the finished product. I did initially think the price was quite high, but on enquiring about the price for another piece of work/ joinery, their quote for this seemed reasonable.

Really thrilled with Young and Norgate’s work on our Library. The team had already designed a small office space in our new house so we were pretty confident they would do the job well. They followed the brief meticulously, including sensitive lighting and even a swinging secret door hidden in the shelving (very Cat and the Canary!) They were not in the least fazed by the lack of straight walls or floors in our house and the finished room looks as though the bookcases have always been there. Stylish and timeless, a spare bedroom has been transformed into our favourite place to work and relax.
