Box Clad

Founded in 2017, Box Clad is the brain child of Mark Etherington and Sean Atkins. Originally from a design background, Mark (that’s me) saw a gap in the market for a unique, design led garden room that didn’t succumb to form over function. This alongside Seans extensive background in the building industry seemed a no brainer and the partnership was born. We both share the same ethos; a passion for details, clean and simple quality design/build and sustainable/environmentally conscious approaches - as a result every Box Clad pod embodies this. We use modern manufacturing techniques that create very little waste and create highly efficient structural components. We source sustainable quality materials and plant trees for every pod we create, just our small way of helping to reduce our environmental impact. We use a ground screw foundation system that is not only practical but makes sure we’re helping to reduce the manufacture and use of concrete (every little helps right!). Each pod is built in our workshop and then assembled on site in a matter of days allowing us to have as little impact on your lives and garden as possible. We’ll agree all the finer details with you prior to manufacture, making every space we create unique. We are a small company and pride ourselves on the fact that all our pods are built to the highest standards along with our attention to detail and service.
