Totally professional from start to finish, could not have been more helpful, we had the back porch done 1st, we were both that impressed we had the front porch ripped out and replaced if anything this was even more impressive, very happy with both would recommend to any one, we were helped with the planning and drawings, able to tweak what we wanted, delivery etc was all arranged to our total satisfaction,

I was initially attracted to Oak by Design having seen their lovey porches on Pinterest - exactly what I had in mind for my rural house. From the initial design, through to the delivery and after sales service, the company has been outstanding in its attention to detail and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. In addition to that, the porch looks amazing and is a real asset to the house. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone interested in excellent standards of design, craftsmanship and service.

We were desperate as others had changed the timetable (COVID). We already had the stone walls built. Oak By Design step in at the last second and delivered on their promise. We arranged our own transport although OBD had also arranged, we used ours because it was a local small firm. Our roofer had sleepiness nights, would they fit correctly? He needn’t had worried. The fit was absolutely perfect. Although not finished yet the oak trusses look fantastic and we are highly delighted. There is one member of staff at OBD (Joanne) who deserves a special mention, beautiful smile on the phone, always responded to my and my roofers questions, excellent communications and double checked everything! I will be sending photos to OBD at various stages of installation and finish to assist with future clients decisions. Highly recommend this small rural Yorkshire business.

Oak by Design have been excellent to deal with. The customer service we received was amazing, especially from Joanne. Her knowledge and advice throughout the project really helped us in making decisions and made the whole process so easy and stress free. We had an oak framed pergola made with a glazed roof. The quality of the oak and the craftsmanship is flawless. Overall, We cannot fault the service or the product provided by Oak by Design and we will definitely use them again for future projects. 5 stars.

Worked closely with Oak by Design on our new build house. They provided oak encapsulations for the interior plus a large oak framed atrium together with 2 magnificent oak porches for the exterior. Can not rate this company highly enough, not just for the quality of product but for their excellent customer service from the start to the completion of the project.

A truly fantastic company!!! The whole process of getting an oak porch by OakByDesign has been outstanding from the start. Joanne has been very helpful from the initial design process, installation and courtesy calls after the porch was completed. After a few amendments on our own design they came to do the final measurements and then a few weeks later they came to install. We are so pleased with the result, the quality and the finish of the product. It is truly beautiful and everyone including tradespeople coming to work at the house, have commented on the quality. We had a very good experience in using Oak By Design from start to finish. We bought an oak glazed screen / door and oak porch which we are very pleased with. Great quality and nice people to deal with that are easy to liaise with and always there to help you.

This is a great company to deal with From the start to the finish of our project they were first class in every aspect . We were fully informed of key dates and given time to ensure we had got our design correct Fully recommend you will find cheaper but you won’t find better

What an incredible company to work with. Joanne, especially was so helpful, friendly and very professional. We had 4 RSJ oak covers made and 2 fireplace mantles, so by their standards it was a small job, but they were still fantastic and produced the most beautiful work. Jamie and the team came to our house to do a difficult job. We needed our hall and landing oak panelled floor refurnished. (grade 2 listed built originally in 1690 )This wasn’t easy as it needed real care and attention to detail. The chaps were superb and very careful that they didn’t get dust all over the house. Jamie came back several times to check it and even although it took a lot longer than expected he kept to the price he gave us. A very professional company and one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.
