“Our family is totally new in London. We bought an interesting 3 bed flat, above 20/F, besides River Thames on one side and overlooking a dock on the other side. The flat is quite new and ready for living in. We however want to have better use of the space while maintaining or even highlighting the character of the flat, we decide to look for an experienced designer from various internet referral platforms. We have expectations of work quality, time control and budget control. See Beng’s resourceful connection in the field provide us more alternatives in terms of style and price. In order to meet time lines, See Beng would work for us during weekends or holidays, when really required. “We employed Christine Peever to provide us with architectural services to renovate a 4 storey property dating back to 1912. The property was in a very poor state and we had no experience of such a project. Christine was an excellent listener to our needs and I felt she understood our strengths and weaknesses as her clients and adapted herself to us both as individuals to create our vision. Her note taking was faultless and she carried out all changes with exactness and efficiency, of which there were many! We also have to thank her for her endless patience during the decision making processes. She pushed us hard to make as many decisions as possible before going out to tender and this has inevitably assisted us with keeping our budget under control. “We approached JW Design with our brief and an extremely tight deadline which they were able to deliver against. Joe was personable in approach and made sure the design created was based on our needs. He added a lot of value by offering alternative designs and ways of thinking about using the space which we feel would not have been the case with other architects which we approached. This progressive nature and eye for detail went beyond just the plan designs throughout the build as Joe wanted to be involved throughout the project. The return visits and time spent with our builder meant that nothing was missed (and no shortcuts achieved!). We highly recommend, might be more than expensive than your average but the value is there.”

“Ciarcelluti Mathers Architecture came up with a scheme that dealt with neighbourhoods’ concerns and received planning permission with ease. Greg and Daniela resolved a complex spatial puzzle very effectively. The design connected the front and rear rooms while added a new WC and utility space. They managed to extend into a sloping garden and provide level access, a sun-filled patio, and a garden bed that is flush with our large kitchen window. The design considered practicality and spatiality in detail so that the floors were flat throughout the house. As a client, these are the sorts of things that you would not think about looking at a drawing but make a big difference living in the space. The house is much more comfortable now, it is open plan, and the rooms connect nicely. The new openings make it more of a family space. We have a nice fireplace that we now use in the winter. The house has metamorphosised into a much more enjoyable place. Every time I enter, it is a pleasure for the eye to see how everything comes together. It really could not be better. It's perfection. We think it is inspired architecture. And it's not just us. People come here and say "wow"!".”
