“I have known John for several years and decided to provide JPD Architecture with an opportunity to design, obtain planning permission and building regulation approval accordingly. My design criteria was extremely unique with specific requests relating to usability of open plan living with particular emphasis on the unique design and quality of workable details. We thought we already knew what we wanted in terms of layout and look, but she came back with a number of really exciting ideas that transformed our fairly mundane ideas into really exciting, but affordable designs. We had a number of difficulties with planning, none of them Miriam's fault, causing her to have to revise key details without losing the essence of what we wanted (lots of light and space).
