Allstars Heating & Air
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars12 September 2017
“I contracted Allstars almost a year ago to install a new unit for my home. Currently, we have had no issues with anything. The installation was done quickly and hassle free, the workmanship looks great; and so far, we have had no issues with anything. I strongly recommend using this company for all your A.C. and heating needs.”
Champion HVAC and Plumbing
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars6 May 2019
“After an awful experience with another company I was very skeptical allowing anyone else work on my units. I have multiple properties and the same contractors installed them all incorrectly. Needless to say not one unit was working properly. I decided to call Champion HVAC and Plumbing and it was the best decision that I could have made. They came out the same day within an hour. They quickly diagnosed the issues, repaired the mistakes of the previous contractor and had all of my units up and running like new the same day. These guys are very polite, professional and come highly recommend.”
Dayco Systems
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars5 November 2021
“This company is incredible! My furnace would kick on and Dayco's techs came out the same day and diagnosed it. I ended up needing a replacement at which their prices came in better than any other company. They were honest, professional and will be my HVAC company for life!”
Shumate Air Conditioning & Heating
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars19 January 2014
“Needing a furnace repair quickly in a rental property during a very cold snap in November 2013 I called Shumate. They were able to come out the same day and unfortunately the furnace was beyond repair. The engineer that I met with gave me several different replacement options and helped with financing. With financing approval they installed the furnace within five days of the initial meeting. I will now use Shumate for all of my HVAC needs at my rental properties.”

PV Heating and Air
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars24 October 2016
“There are two things I have come to love as a home owner. The first is Houzz - I designed almost our entire home using this site (and gardenweb before the merge). The second is a reliable contractor who cares about doing the job well and taking care of their customers. We have found, in the past 4 years since we began this process, four contractors that I would use again, two that I would recommend to friends and family, and precisely ONE that we would never consider replacing under any circumstances. That one is PV Heating and Air. We are actually about to finish our basement and refused two great quotes because they wouldn't allow us to use PV. If I have an HVAC project any time between now and when I die, I wouldn't even consider hiring anyone else. A bit of background: My wife and I decided to build a very energy efficient house with spray foam insulation and geothermal heating and cooling back in 2012. We made the mistake of trusting the wrong company. I'll leave it at that. For those familiar, I'm sure you'll understand that we had serious considerations with a project like ours related to humidity, clean air intake (important in a tightly sealed home), and make-up air for our 1100CFM range hood... Suffice it to say we had a very technically challenging project with a complex layout to boot. Well, the first summer, we not only had humidity greater than 65% the entire season, but we also had energy bills through the roof. it turns out our initial contractor had taken a "let's see if this works" approach. One full year, and THIRTY visits later, I was worried we had a lemon of a system, and would have to start over. I wish I were kidding when I say that we literally had the VP of Bosch North America in our attic with their most senior technician because we initially thought the equipment was malfunctioning. When we determined that that was not the issue, and looking for a quick fix, we hired another company on the recommendation of a neighbor, and they said all we needed was a dehumidfier. It fixed nothing. They then recommended a third HVAC unit, and we showed them the door. After 30 months of truly uncomfortable conditions and astronomical bills, we hired a man with a PhD in building science...really. He came in, identified some flaws in our system, and recommended PV to do the work. That recommendation was worth triple his fee. We were skeptical at first since we'd been burned so many times, but when PV came in, they knew just what to do. First of all, we discovered that they could have done the assessment that the PhD did, but that's not the point. The point is that they took his assessment, confirmed it on their own, identified a few more potential issues, and got to work. Within hours, things were better, within a week they were almost perfect (we were getting into fall), and with a few small tweaks the following hot season, our HVAC system is now operating to absolute perfection. What I almost forgot is that along the way, they identified ways to improve airflow, exhaust from the bathrooms and the kitchen, and they even painted our outside exhausts (that they did not install) so that everything would look perfect. By this point, my wife bakes her famous cookies for them whenever we have a tune up scheduled, and I'm pretty sure she wants to name our first child after this company. I am sure this review sounds like an exaggeration, but if you read my posts on this site, you will see that not only am I a stickler for detail, but I am also extremely critical (to a fault) of contractors who aren't impossibly perfect... (I'm working on it). I've even posted about this HVAC nightmare on the site. However, even with my idiosyncrasies and particular nature, PV met and exceeded my expectations more than any company I have ever interacted with in my lifetime. That about says it all. If anyone has questions and Houzz has a mechanism for it, please feel free to contact me for any further details. To sum up, we have a complex house with a complex system that wasn't performing. Now it is perfect, and I wish we had saved tens of thousands of dollars by going with PV the first time around.”
Allied Heating, Air & Refrigeration
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 August 2016
“I called Allied Heating, Air & Refrigeration as I was in dire need of air condition in the dead heat of summer. I realized that my AC unit went out in the upstairs level of my town home during the middle of the night. I called George Martin with Allied very early the next morning and he was able to take care of me right away! I was very impressed with the level of service, professionalism and ability to get the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Allied for your maintenance needs!”
Premier Indoor Comfort Systems LLC
Heating Engineers in Atlanta, GA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 August 2012
“Premier did the geothermal system for our new house. They are the ultimate professionals. The work was tidy and thoughtful from the wells drilled to the ducting inside the house. Recently we had a minor problem with the system. The service technician came right out to check on it. What I found remarkable was that instead of making excuses or blaming the fellow who had omitted a part, he said, "This is my fault. I should have noticed this when i did your start up." That spoke volumes to me. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is a dying breed of man who takes responsibility and makes it right.”
