“Their locally based workshop allows us to come and visit; making those slightly more detailed and bespoke items easier for both of us to produce. Life is easy when you have designers on both sides working so seamlessly together. All items are made to the highest of quality and every client of ours has been over the moon with the end result. Their precise project managing allows us to concentrate on other areas of the client project meaning no time is wasted. We will definitely be continuing to work together with Langstaff for the foreseeable future.”

“Alan has done various pieces of work for me over the last 30 years including kitchen refurbishment, bespoke cupboards, shelving, stable doors, chair repairs etc. The most recent was less than 2 years ago when he made a superb front door and frame in European oak. I have always found his work to be excellent.”

“Without a doubt the installed wardrobes and cupboards are fully worthy of a 5* review. From the moment of the first visit to the end fitted result, we are over the moon. The design, the cost and the timely speed to be on site and fitted was brilliant. We live in a static houseboat on the river Thames and storage is at a premium. The units fulfil all our needs completely Thanks to Rocky and all his colleagues”

“I have gone through a number of house renovations and have never found someone as incredible as Capstick. His attention to detail, taste and experience is outstanding. From laying oak floors in an old uneven floored cottage, to building hidden doors that encompassed vintage wood pieces (trimmed to fit). Could not recommend him enough!”

“Solid Joinery have been making items of furniture for me for the last few years, always to a high standard, on time and on budget, Mindaugas is extremely friendly and helpful, I would not hesitate to recommend him, the workmanship is fantastic. Our last project consisted of a boardroom table over 10m in length, our client was delighted with it and has ordered another one for their new office. “Steve has done two jobs for me: a kitchen (door fronts, wall cabinets, open shelves and work tops); and some living room shelf units. As an architect, I found Steve an excellent collaborator - he had a significant creative and practical input into both designs (providing very useful advice on materials, including shelf lights, and on design constraints). He has exceptionally high standards and is a meticulous finisher. He is very good value and, on top of that, has an easy unruffled manner.”

“Jonathan did an absolutely fantastic job for us making and fitting some floating shelves and cupboards. We were very impressed with his professionalism and his attention to detail, and he was so careful to keep everything clean and tidy as he worked. The finished result has surpassed our expectations and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.”
