Alchemy Projects

We just had two thirds of our (large) kitchen renewed, and are really pleased with it. It was a harder job than ripping out the whole kitchen and a complete renewal but Mike and his team have done an excellent job. We had all new worktops, one half new cupboards etc, hob and oven and new sink, tap etc. They went the extra mile in repairing hidden defects with the old cupboards and have linked in the new seamlessly. We felt like the job was being considered and implemented as if it was in their own home and some clever and thoughtful suggestions were made during the project. An added dimension is that we were out of the country whilst this work was taking place. A project WhatsApp group was set up and we received daily reports and photos on progress, which was much appreciated. I am aware that Alchemy Projects do a range of projects from extensions, loft conversions to kitchen and bathroom renewal and I highly recommend them. However, probably because of the quality of their work, they are busy and I booked them in about 9 months before the job was done! Thank you

Mike and his team of subcontractors were a pleasure to have working on our building. They always brought a friendly atmosphere and were committed to ensuring that the work was done to a good standard and meeting our wishes. I was particularly impressed with their interest, knowledge and commitment for energy efficiency in buildings. As well as providing guidance in ensuring that the finished product was well done. This made for a very collaborative approach to building that I personally particularly enjoyed. Mike even supported us when there were bits of work that we wanted to do ourselves. Our project was slightly unusual due to it's small size. This meant that we agreed to undertake the work on day rate and often work on our project was fitted round other projects. This meant that the project potentially took longer than it needed to but Mike's commitment to getting the project finished was never in doubt. There were a few occasions where I needed to chase the details on paperwork, and communication between spells of work was not always great. That said, when Mike was on site and working on the project he was very communicative and keen to ensure that we were happy with progress. I also understand that their is a reality when juggling multiple projects and trades, which is not always easy to do. Mike especially has a very good grasp of what is possible across the trades as well as the architectural and engineering side of developing buildings. Alchemy Projects are a very capable outfit and their personal approach really gave us confidence in them working on our home. I would be happy to recommend them to others and was in fact recommended them by members of my own family.

Alchemy Projects refurbished several rooms in our home, including two complete bathroom remodels (releasing a lot of previously wasted space!) and new flooring and peninsula unit in the kitchen (all with underfloor heating). We already had ideas which Mike listed to patiently and suggested some ideas we hadn’t thought of. Mike helped us choose materials and finished, and to choose suppliers for specific items. Mike and his team are always friendly, considerate and professional.

Mike, Remi and the rest of the team did an excellent job re-doing our kitchen and downstairs floor. They were very hardworking and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. Mike made sure that we were happy with the design pre-project, took time to talk us through everything and was happy to accommodate changes. The work was all carried out to a high standard and we are thrilled with the results. Would certainly recommend them for any projects you have.

Alchemy Projects did a great job for us in renovating our kitchen. He was reliable, knowledgeable, efficient and extremely helpful. We are very happy with the results. He removed most of the exterior wall of our kitchen, replacing the French windows and smaller window with bifold doors. He also managed the new layout of our kitchen units (designed and built by a separate contractor), complete with entirely new plumbing, electrics and underfloor heating below slate floor tiles.

very pleased with the end result of our loft conversion,the standard of work was very high. Mike was willing to listen to any concerns with the work and budget.They were on site around 8.00 am everyday and cleaned up at the end of the day.Would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to employ them.

Alchemy Projects completed a major external refurb of our period property in Clifton. The work included repointing, a new roof, repainting the windows and new pipe work. It was carried out in a timely fashion, with excellent friendly tradesmen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and his team at Alchemy Projects for any building projects you may have.
